I retained Diane when I petitioned for child support back in the mid 2000's. In response, opposing countered for primary residential plus support from me. So, for whatever reason, a simple request for child support from a parent we'd not seen in a decade turned into an absurd custody dispute. (Perhaps she really wanted to earn the hefty retainer I'd paid?) From Diane, all I received was attitude and was then subsequently accused of 'coaching my child,' re: a GAL interview (which I thought was incredibly odd as I certainly had not; there was nothing to coach, my child barely even knew of the father in the first place.) I had no idea at the time that this accusation was a prelude and guise. Then, Diane vanishes on an out-of-the-country excursion and upon return filed a motion for withdraw. When I inquired regarding said hefty retainer as I certainly couldn't afford another to a new attorney, I received a letter stating that I'd 'exhausted my retainer,' absent of any itemization. As a result of this attorney's behavior, my child (and I) ended up suffering. I won't go into detail, however even at age 26 now, my child still remembers that misery, as do I. It's my opinion that to accept a retainer and to not complete the work - let alone finish the case - causes a parent undue financial hardship, not to mention stress. It would be prudent for anyone who is seeking counsel to consider your options carefully.

Ms. Dylewski was chosen as the court-ordered GAL I motioned for in my case. She was determined to achieve what was best for our child. Saying I am beyond thankful for the work she did is an understatement!! She was extremely thorough with interviews and was able to uncover the actual truth. She can see right through all of the lies. She is knowledgeable, honest, compassionate, and will always fight for what is best for the child. Her staff is wonderful, quick to communicate, and helpful with questions. I would definitely recommend Ms. Dylewski and her team.

Asked for itmization of bill in writing, never received. Never received final copy of court order until i called up to ask where it was. Office staff and lawyer do not communicate with each other.

She was my lawyer for my custody case back in 2012. She is a beast. Awesome in court.I currently just hired her again for the same case.I wouldn't hire anyone but her!

Prior to hiring Diane, I had spoken with several people who know her and has had prior interaction with her on a professional level. I then had the opportunity to see her in action for myself. Diane is extremely knowledgeable and knows what she needs to address and the appropriate timing as well. She will fight for you until the very end. I saw a particular review that stated she is a 'bulldog' in the court room. Since I don't have another terminology, I agree completely. I would 100% recommend Diane and would hire her again, no question.

She was my family law attorney when DCF stole my children in October 2014. She was tough, compassionate and did an amazing job resolving the horrifying and miserable case. And truly the most comforting thing was that she believed us and fought like hell for the truth to surface. My children were finally returned home where they belonged after 6 weeks, Diane put together an amazing defense which showcased my kids were loved and my oldest had a (now documented) blood disorder. Best decision I ever made. I was a father whose child was being held for ransom buy a greedy mother. I retained Ms. Dylewski to handle my case after years of being browbeaten. I happen to have a lot of experience retaining attorneys and this was by far my best experience. I have never seen anyone handle a courtroom in such a manner especially an attorney. Diane Dylewksi does not care about what the client wants. Diane wants easy cases, and does not want to have to put forth actual effort in a case this woman acts like a child in court on your dime. If that is the type of attorney you are out for she is the attorney for you. If you are out for an attorney who will fight for you and your rights as a parent and do whatever it takes and actually listen to you. I would find someone else.

Diane won our case! Fighting DCF is a nightmare and she is strong, smart and very hard working. She kept in great contact with me and was always available to answer my concerns. I am grateful I hired her, she kept our family together. She fights hard in court and knows what she is doing. I highly recommend her and hope your situation works out well. Diane Dylewski is one of the worst attorneys I have ever had the displeasure of representing me. She doesn't communicate via, text, e-mail or phone and her charges are fraudulent. she will tell you your retainer will last up to trail and then ask you for another $2,500. After she got the additional $2,500 she withdrew from my case. She took $6,000 of my money and did NOTHING! Literally stole $6,000. I am reporting her to the bar and if you have trouble with her, I will do the same for you. Don't waste your time and money. Attorneys like these should be in Jail or prison not practicing law.

This woman is amazing! She will not rest until justice is served! She truly cares about children and will fight for them! I have recommended her to others who personally thanked me for my advice.

Diane deserves a 10 rating. I had rather a nasty mess situation but she is more than willing to go the extra mile in a court hearing. She fights back and takes no crap from anyone else. I would have been better off without a lawyer. Hired Diane for a child support case, and what did she do for me? Has me paying MORE than what the state suggested. Didn't fight for me or anything in court. Most helpful part of hiring her was her assistant. Her assistant was there for all my questions and actually helped me. Biggest waste of $2000.

Great lawyers - competent, professional, and willing to make you their first priority. They're also realistic about what can be achieved - they won't promise you the moon unless it's possible to get there.

They were very professional at all times but most of all they kept incontact with me weekly sometimes Daily.Diane listen to my problems, viewed my documents put it all together, then seen what we were asking for was not out of line but the truth! Mr. Drum searched all the facts and used them in the courtroom 'Man what a true Professional' which won us our case! This is the most night nare of a lawyer.. She will take all,ur money. And nil u for things that's not allowed.. She has no concept or care for the minor,child.. She only cares about money.. She will lie to the judge not follow the law and charge you more money..very nasty woman.. Doesn't keep good records of what you paided them.... She a snake in the grass... Nor is she greatful for veterans who have served this great nation...Takes money and doesn't tell you...

Diane handled two divorces and a domestic violence injunction case for me. She is always prepared for court and commits 100% to representing her clients. I wish no one ever needed a family lawyer, but if you do, Diane should be at the top of your list.

This attorney was truely a nightmare for our situation. In the begginning she insisted we had a likely case. 2 years later we were left without ever actually going to court, no remaining retainer, and absolutley nothing to show for it. At one point the respondent was incarcerated and she told us she would send her paralegal to speak with him which never happened. When we started questioning what, if anything, had she done for our case she told us she 'couldn't help us any longer' and that 'nothing she could do would ever match our expectations.' So if you have expectations of progress, then NO. She cannot match that. She was a total monster who as far as my husband and I are concerned, robbed us. The worst part is, a child should have been at her best interest and that child was the last thing on her agenda.
