I would highly recommend Ami DiLorenzo. I first contacted her when I was trying to get out of an abusive relationship and wanting a divorce. She offered clear guidance and the steps I would need to take for myself and my daughter to be free of my ex. She and her staff were very supportive and communicated well throughout the entire process. It was sort of a unique situation with several challenges but she was there every step of the way. I have passed her name on to other friends and will continue to do so in the future! Very professional and understanding.

Ami Delorenzo is an awesome lawyer that i would highly recommend. I was referred to her by my brother who retained her over 5 years ago. After hearing all the goods things he mentioned, I decided to have Ami represent me. After almost 2 years of her working on my child custody case and representing me in court, everything worked out in my favor and I have my daughter back in my life. Ami was very attentive, helpful, respectful, and punctual. She never tried to pressure me into anything or tried to persuade me into making current decisions on the parenting plan, she always showed respect for my wants in the case. I wish I could do a 0 star review. I hired this lawyer to represent me and she did nothing but lag me into default. She is good friends with another divorce attorney which happens to be representing my counter-party. In no way has she heard or respected my concerns although she didnt mind billing my retainer all the while accomplishing nothing. Its most certainly as if she and her friend are working together. 0/5 stars.

I highly recommend using Ami for your divorce/child custody case. My particular case had some very trying factors and Ami was always there to answer questions as well as giving me honest upfront advice/ answers. My case went on for two years (due to certain circumstances) Ami, Kelly, and Charity were always willing to help and answer the complex questions regarding my case. My case went to trial Ami and her team were more than prepared and got me what I wanted and more regarding custody and the distribution of assets. I can not thank her and her team enough for helping me get shared custody of my two children.

Friendly staff, process took longer than expected, but all things happen according to a higher powers' plan, not my plan or timeline. Divorce is not easy, but unfortunately necessary sometimes.

She was seemingly stressed, maybe overloaded with cases atm during the free phone consult. We were shopping around and have had three consultations this week. After hearing the basics of one of two cases we are dealing with, she declared it impossible. Became defensive and explosive with my spouse that 'she is the lawyer' and without proof of significant change of circumstances (which we can prove) she simply would not hear any more details and tried to focus her efforts on the second case. We retained a different lawyer the same day.

I recently used The DiLorenzo Law firm to represent me in my family law case. I am a young single father, the mother of my child moved out of state 14 days after giving birth to my daughter and kept her away from me for the first 11 months of her life. Ami and her whole team worked tirelessly to ensure that I not only got to finally meet my daughter, but got the timeshare with her from here on out that both I and my daughter deserve. Ami can be a real pit bull but she is also fair, she tried offering the mother of my child the most fair options several times, which my ex kept flatly refusing. Ultimately thanks to all of the hard work her and her team did for me the judge, who normally sides with the mothers awarded me-the father- majority custody of my daughter. I now have my daughter 80% of the time and I couldnt have done it without Ami and her team! When I reached out to Ami, I had already gone through some frustrating moments with my divorce. I tried to push to settle things out of court and even when I did, my ex-husband got my case thrown out. I left the majority of what my ex-husband and I owned with him. I reached out to Ami after reading other reviews posted. During our first face to face meeting, Ami understood my concerns as well as how I wanted to proceed. From that day, Ami provided me with updates throughout the court process as well as a list of next steps so I knew what was going on. The process of getting a divorce is not enjoyable, however, choosing Ami to represent you will at least give you the peace of mind that you need during troubled times.

I was given a list of attorneys in the Ocala area but her name was strongly recommended. After calling the other attorneys with no response, I called Ami's office and I was quickly put into contact with her. I started using Ami after having a horrible experience from a previous attorney. Ami appeared to be a little abrasive in the beginning BUT, there was a reason behind it. I am a talker and long winded. Although I did not think that she was hearing me, or understanding my situation, what she was doing was actually preparing me for trial. She taught me how to answer questions as they were asked and not to ramble on about irrelevant thoughts or points I was trying to make. DON'T get me wrong, she is nice and friendly, and good to work with, but she has some sharp edges. BUT, don't let that phase you, she used those sharp edges in court to defend me. The opposing attorney questioned me for hours. The entire time, Ami was attentive, objected when the questions were asked multiple times, objected when the opposing attorney was more or less harassing me, and she was very well prepared. The questions that Ami asked in court, made me realize that she WAS listening to me, she had heard me, and she worked her butt off to prepare for my case and to WIN my case. I can't really explain the full details of court, but wow!! I left the court room knowing I made the right decision in hiring her. She did more than I expected and her thought process and how she responded to things was very impressive. I WOULD definitely hire and use her again and I would most certainly recommend her to my friends if needed.
