Lets just say that by the end of my case, I was more stressed out because of my representation than my actual divorce. Emails/texts would go unanswered for days, mistakes with billing, horrible communication, strung out case for no reason. I was able to get more information from my ex husbands lawyer than mine that I paid 10k+ for. I ended up terminating my contract with Ms Copeland in order for my divorce to be finalized in a reasonable timeframe. I would not recommend.

Katie Copeland is an amazing lawyer! Obviously if you are needing her services you are in a tough spot mentally and emotionally, and Katie is wonderful. She is understanding and sympathetic, she explained the specifics of the process and the laws to me in a way that was very easy to understand and she helped make the process as smooth and easy as possible. I even needed her services again a year and half later (ex wasn't leaving me alone) and she helped me out then as well. Katie is smart, knowledgeable, kind and understanding - all things that make her a great lawyer!

Katie is phenomenal! I was going through the process of having my husband adopt my daughter and my ex husband who has been MIA since she was 3 weeks old was being a total pain in the butt. He tried blackmailing me, disappearing, and harassing me. Katie was fantastic. She acted as a buffer, was knowledgable, got the papers signed that we needed and was an amazing emotional support through the entire process. My biggest fear was that I would get an attorney who would nickel and dime me and take me for a financial rollercoaster. Instead Katie was succinct, efficient, and resolved the matter as quickly as she could. If you need an attorney stop looking she's in your court and ready to go! I was referred to katie by a friend when i decide to follow through with my divorce. I cld not be any happie, normally the mom gets the better end but that was not my case. Katie made sure that it was equal not only for my sake but for our kids. As a business owner I was worried how the divorce would affect my business but she protected me. Katie won me 50/50 custody, no child support and i was granted custodial parentship. She is very professional and will fight for you to the fullest. Thank you katie for everything.
