I will never regret walking through the doors of this office for help! Dawn Korman and her team were outstanding! I had a lot of concerns and during the initial consultation Dawn laid out what to expect throughout the legal process and educated me on what steps should be taken. It's hard to understand everything sometimes as the arduous process is going along, but as everything came together towards the end, I realized that I had chosen the right team to represent my family. Custody issues can be extremely hard on everyone and having this law office in our corner was amazing. We will always be grateful for the great job they did!

Mr Jarvis has been a wonderful divorce attoney. He is the 2nd attoney I have hired since I filed for divorce last year. My divorce isnt finalized YET but he has been very supportive and stood by me thru everything so far. My husband has tried to ruin my life in EVERY way possible, including filing false charges against me. Mr Jarvis has stood up for and defended me thru it all! He has worked hard to protect me (even thru the criminal case that was ultimately dropped) and get the papers finalized as quickly as possible. Mr Jarvis and his staff handled my divorce . I had to do a lot of leg work for union retirement information myself and he didn't know how to fill out the paperwork for the QDRO correctly . I was charged for phone calls and e-mails to the union because he didn't know . I feel I shouldn't have been charged for in the first place .He wasn't really on my side as far a getting me the most out of my divorce .He just wanted me to settle,take my money and be over with the case . Don't waste your time using him . I owe him 1050.00 after paying him way to much . It was a simple cut and dry divorce with no assets to divide. Just the QDRO for his retirement . I'm getting charged interest on the money I owe him . I was told the QDRO was A flat fee of 500.00 . He couldn't even tell me how much I was going to get . DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON USING HIM .

At a time of divorce you are most vulnerable, you need an attorney that truly has your best interest at heart.Initially Jim Jarvis promised a 50/50 settlement. End result, lost 62% of all 401k's, cash and monies, lost house and over 30 years of furnishing and properties in the house ( furnishings he valued at $2,000!!!), half my pension, and $1500 a month in spousal support for 2yrs. I received all her credit card debt, lost airline miles, personal property and even my dog!All this great counsel cost almost $20,000.Think I'm kidding? Consider this fair warning! Jim was strictly about delaying the process and racking up billable hours.

My name is LaVonne Searle. Half star for (Dawn Korman) making it look like she was actually going to professionally assist me. The other half star for actually doing 1500.00 worth of real attorney work. The other $4000.00+ burned up retainer for emails and phone calls. I was not a client that nagged her ever. I was patient and blindly trusted her and let her lead and 'do her job'. I only asked for 2 things... Modified custody and child support garnishment. Don't know how most of retainer is spent/justified to be spent as such when emails were half read (by her admittance) if ever responded to. Attention to detail was not important to her regarding my case. Did not even get to court. Did not even try hard enough with the Child Support office... I did my own work in getting child support wages garnished being that my ex was in arrears and had been for some time. Hired her 9/8/2015 with 6,000.00 retainer and finally a court date in February? Forget it, I would not give her another penny and I was asked for more money by her and Jim Jarvis. Now she wants a hearing because I won't sign innacurate paperwork releasing her from being my counsel. I asked for her to draw up another stating she is released as my counsel, simple and plain. She would not do it and it took almost a month for me to find out there would be a hearing about it. Another example of her not paying attention.....She was aware that I felt unsafe with my ex knowing my exact address. Then accidentally emailed my stalking ex husband an email belonging to me with my exact address along with with my monthly bill. How is that for protecting your client? Too much to mention. Lies about a few things as well, including the address situation. My emails of proof stood up to those lies. I hope others get a better representation. Greed is also another key word for her. She said she was not cheap. Well that is fine if she did what she was hired to do. Very sad that she gave me the stereotypical greedy lawyer feeling. I really thought she was better than that. I hired Dawn Korman to handle my uncontested divorce in February. On June 1st I still had not received the draft of the divorce decree to review. I hired another attorney to handle my divorce. The new attorney had the draft of the divorce decree ready for me to review 3 days after I hired her and the divorce was finalized the same week.
