Very well experienced staff, always very courteous and professional. Cant say enough about the importance of good representation during something thats very emotional. Mr. Gilberts ability to get me to look at the bigger picture, probably saved my rear. I would recommend this firm if in need of a family law firm in Brazoria. Im happy to strongly recommend Rachel Aguilar. Having dealt with several attorneys over the years I found Rachel to be highly responsive and extremely knowledgeable. Rachel provided sound advice and a strategic plan that was realistic and on point. Too often attorneys seem to disappear once the retainer is paid..BUT this was not the case with Rachel. Only having 3 days to be in court over 100 miles away and panicking, Rachel and Jeff were there for me! I cant tell you how many times through the whole process I was panicking and had so many questions and concerns. In this familys opinion, we are convinced that we could not have landed up with a better law firm to represent us in our case. The firm knows the law, the legal system in place in Brazoria and the surrounding counties. They schedule an initial interview and do an in depth discussion on your issues explaining exactly where you stand, what you can expect and the best way to proceed from this point in time. They explain the dos and donts and the ramifications of each action. There were no false promises. Very importantly, they know how and when to proceed on your issue. The law firm staff was always courteous, pleasant and easy to work with. They are very good at assisting you with your input to the case information needed which made it a whole lot easier. They were always glad to hear from you when you wanted to know how things were proceeding or needed some advice. We were so fortunate to have found this law firm. We feel we could not have been represented any better and were very pleased with the outcome. When it comes to law firms, you hear this and that but when it comes right down to it, you have to decide who is best for you. This attorney will only take your money. I used him jefferey gilrbert for my divorce and he didnt do anything i paid 500 dollars an hour so he can side with the opposite counsel. He is not worth it there are better attorneys out there. I dont know if he was intimidated by the other attorney. Also Rachel seemed pretty new at this i should have given her a chance because Jefferey was by far the worst attorney i have met. I hired him because i was close to my court date. He didnt allow me to even think about fighiting for custody didnt use evidence i sent them on my ex husbands that was a threat to my children. Now that i see how family attorneys work i would have never hired. Please look around do not come to him. He didnt work to the best he could just collected money close to 10 thousand he charged and it was no fight not houses no retirement no cars nothing. He agreed on child support so there was no need to collect that money he chooses who he robs. Beware.

Jeff Gilbert and Rachel are both amazing lawyers. Their staff as well as themselves are extremely competent and compassionate. Their honesty and hard work is comendable and I have no doubts that they are the super lawyers Texas claims them to be.

This review is regarding representation for a relative for a divorce proceeding. He (Mr. Gilbert) left a response here that he does not know me, however we certainly did meet twice in-person during that time. Standard performance professionally, although disingenuous and unpleasant/awkward to deal with in the midst of a difficult time-thus the low rating. This included foul language, albeit minor and brief. The Gilbert family has contacted me based on an original 1 star rating and after further contemplation I feel 1 star may be unfair. I've changed my rating to 3 stars based on the criterion used to determine the rating. The effort seemed to be there however, decide for yourself what is appropriate for you, your circumstances and your family.

My name is Michael Herndon. Jeff Gilbert represented me in two cases. Aggrivated Assault with serious bodily injury/Class 2 felony and Family Assault/Class A Misdeamenor. Charge with first offense on July 08,2015/ Second offense was approximately 1 year 9 months later. The first case was still ongoing. His professionalism and willingness to do what he needed to do to get these charges dismissed is beyond words. I felt the firm didn't just treat me as a client bu as part of a family. I listened to what he said and stood firm every step of the way. Both of these charges were dismissed. This was a bad time in my life. I almost lost everything I've got, including my babies. With what Jeff was able to do for me has opened up a better job opportunity that wouldn't of happened if I had a conviction. This is what Jeff done for me. I am leaving Texas soon to relocate. I highly recommend Jeffrey Gilbert, I had been through court before in my younger days, but this is the first time I used an attorney. Not helpful. I came in for a minor consult to help straighten out my paper. They were more concerned about getting paid rather than the actual work. $250 to look at papers for maybe 15 minutes. Way to sell out on people.
