Unfortunately, Michael couldn't make it to my divorce hearing but sent Jessica P. instead. Just as professional as anyone would expect from an outstanding firm! Overall, filed the case in August and Michael told me he'd have it wrapped up before Halloween...my final hearing date was 29 Oct! I was in and out. After several attempts of DIY, going with DeTreville Law took so much weight off! Hire them today, please!

I set up a phone consultation to be able to have a mediation for a non contested custody agreement. I was set up with a time and date. I made room in my busy schedule. I recieved multiple reminder emails. When it came time I called in and got a voice mail. I called multiple more times and the same result. I also sent an email and no response. I suggest dealing with a firm that respects you. This firm obviously doesn't.

Michael has been practicing in the Charleston area for many years and has built experience that allows him to help clients in numerous different situations. We feel comfortable sending him clients who can benefit from his expertise.

As a young individual who has never been in trouble with the law before, this process of going through divorce and court was very scary for me. I went to Mr. DeTreyville because of these reviews. When I saw him I told him how I'd been ripped off trying to get a divorce and he said he would help me and look out for me. He also said in a matter of weeks this would all be behind me. Retainer: $2,500. But I was sure it wouldn't actually cost that much and he assured me they would keep all costs down as much as possible. Sounds like a good deal in a time of hurting. Two weeks later I send an email saying I haven't heard anything. A few days later, another email asking about my case. Then a couple of phone calls with promises to get back to me. After four weeks I said enough is enough. I need to get another lawyer and asked for my money back. It has been two and a half months. I've sent emails, made phone calls, set appointments... He wasn't there for my appointment! I said that I've lost faith in him to represent me and that I didn't trust the paralegal that can't even make appointments to do any work on my case. Again, I asked for my money so that I could hire someone else. No responses yet. Even though I was told that she would talk to Mr. DeTreyville. My heart is broken in so many ways. DeTreyville Law is unreliable and has no back up plan of any kind. When the first paralegal quit, I was told they didn't have access to her emails and that was why they didn't respond to me. He's got lots of excuses for his terrible business and his new paralegal is pretty terrible as well!WATCH OUT!!!

We tried using the firm for divorce mediation. We had our appointment cancelled twice. The second time we were pulling into the driveway when we received the call. No call after the second cancellation. Wasted time and lost money since I had to give up a day of work.

A real pain in the ass. Don't piss this woman off.
