I found myself in need of legal counsel and as with many started searching online. The great reviews that I found with Mrs. Baker lead me to contact her about my case. From the beginning she was straight forward and helpful. She answered any questions (of which I had many) and always replied in a timely manner. She outlined all the facts of my case and advised me on my best course of action. Once I went to court she continued to give me straight forward expectations and let me know what she would TRY to do beyond that. In my case Laura was able to get even better results than she had told me to expect and I am extremely grateful for her service. I will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone I know seeking legal counsel and should I ever find myself in need of legal counsel again, she will be my first call.

Got a speeding ticket for 60 in a 45...then doubly screwed up forgetting my court date! Contacted Atty. Laura Baker the day after I was supposed to appear in court fearing the worst. Took less than 10 minutes to fill out the forms she emailed over to allow her to represent me, and she took over from there! She tried to contact the DA, despite it being the middle of a holiday week ( close to Christmas ), and tried to take care of the matter quickly. She wasn't able to get through during the holiday break, but was impressed by Mrs. Baker working over a holiday and how dedicated she is to her new clients! She was able to resolve the matter w/ the DA shortly after New Years and got the matter of my missing the court date completely dismissed, and got the speeding ticket reduced to improper equipment - so no insurance increase or points. The rates she charged were also fair and reasonable. Thank you Mrs. Baker!

Laura was amazing ! I am so glad I got a lawyer instead of representing my self as I was initially going to do . Long story short I got a ticket that was given to me in error laura was able to review My driving record to see that it was invalid and got my charged reduced from a class 1 misdemeanor to a class 3 misdemeanor! Laura was a wonderful asset to me during a tumultuous and stressful time. I got many unsolicited offers in the mail from lawyers wanting me to use their services but was uncomfortable hiring someone based simply on a letter. I contacted the mother of one of my daughter's friends, who is an attorney in a neighboring county to Cabarrus. She recommeded attorney Baker right away. I contacted Ms. Baker, who was very kind and professional. All the forms and payment were set up online, making it a very easy process. Attorney Baker delivered as promised and got my ticket reduced to improper equipment. No points, no increase in my car insurance premium. I could not have asked for a better, easier experience. Laura Baker gets the job done at a reasonable rate! Highly recommend!
