I am going through an eviction where I own my home but pay lot rent. So over the years I watched these waiting on momma to die so they get all the money slum lord's take peoples trailers and the lawyers were all different and the representation and out come all the same. Losing there homes, hearts, pride, and a part of good in them that will never be back. So they lucky I gave them that.

Extremely grateful to Pisgah Legal Services for going the EXTRA MILE in assisting me in obtaining much needed custody of my grandson. Pisgah Legal services provides a very valuable and affordable (free) set of legal services to the citizens of Western NC. They can be challenging to get in touch with. I presume because they stay quite busy. However, their services are invaluable and their guidance direct and in language easily understood.

This place is an amazing resource and I am so grateful I was referred here. I was having trouble applying for health insurance and they helped me out tremendously! Without their help, I would be risking another year without Health insurance.

They very helpful and kind making sure we understood all legal stuff they assisted us with. Very thankful.

Smug and condescending. Don't know who they help but they sure didn't help me. And were weirdly dismissive of a problem that I'm sure affects a lot of people...the ncdmv and it's mystery fees/extortion. 'Good luck, we aren't gonna help you' were the parting words.

Tried calling for a landlord issue. The lawyer that called me back had the wrong person. They had no clue why I was calling even after leaving a detailed message for my reason. I still have not spoken with the correct lawyer.

Extremely difficult to reach. I called and left a message. After over a week I called back several times until I spoke to someone. They filled out my app then I waited another week to hear something, then they left the message in a language I don't speak. I called back and they said they had me down as Spanish which wasn't my fault. They redid my application and said they would call me back. I never got a message over a week later. I called back and they said they closed my claim because they couldn't reach me. I had already told them didn't get a signal at my job and I asked if they could email me or give a call time frame so I could take the call off the property. They refused and asked me to come in to refill out the application. I did so only for them to tell me that they would call me to follow up again so I dont really get why I was asked to come in if its the same process. Finally they did leave a message to say that I made too much money for the services. Why did I have to do the application three times for them to tell me that?
