Stay away from this practice. We were grossly overcharged for an appeal, paid a flat fee retainer. After completion of case they decided the retention was not a flat fee retainer! We were charged thousands more, and spent extra expenses to ward off their claims in court! BAD PRACTICE

We recently had him for a divorce and let me say this, stay away!!! Your better off representing yourself.. he literally did nothing. Every motion filed was from the other parties attorney. In the end, we got screwed because he never said or did anything but charge us 5,000 plus. Hes reasoning was, well it's only temporary.. at 491 a week spousal support, there is no temporary. He never objected any motion...pretty much took our money and screwed us...Stay away!

Awful experience. Would not recommend. Used initially for a divorce. The decree was missing critical information which once noticed Mr. Bourey wrote in and the judge signed off on it. Now social security office and anunity company refusing the divorce decree paperwork with hand written permission to resume my maiden name. When I called Bourey's law office to let them know I need the paper work fixed. I was told I would have to pay them to fix their mistake. Pay for the same divorce papers twice!! Really?!

Jessica doesn't return phone calls. Always 2 weeks out if u need a conversation by consultation. She does only email otherwise and even then will take 1-2 weeks for a response. I have a custody case. She dropped the ball a lot and not coming to court prepared. My son threatened to hang himself while in my ex husband care and she didn't make it a priority. She takes MONTHS to do any motion paperwork. She can talk a good talk to keep you as a client but a horrible attorney for a family law case. Run away!!!!!

This guy was useless. Gave him 2 retainers. One a custody situation. The other was for an order of protection. Two months later still no order of protection. When I called him ,he was nothing but excuses. He even tried to blame me for his inadequate work. Then he argued with me and charged me a ridiculous price for the phone call. RUN from this guy. Oh, and after I finally convinced him he was fired... it cost me over $500 for him to withdraw from the case.. yes .. he charged me to fire him.. its the only result I got from him.

Ive never been a client with this firm, however, if the bad commentary is not true, then you sir need to learn how to use your sight to adjust these comments. I understand having had worked for a lawyer in the past that you cannot comment on a case. It looks bad when you only say the things you do. Maybe some of these people were not your clients. Its just the same as people working with your or for you are not your clients, but they place reviews only by friendship not by being your client. All of your clients have the right to post how they feel they their case went in their eyes. Unfortunately you cannot. That is why they have reviews on here. It helps others choose who they like to see. So utilize google. You cannot change nor make people feel differently about their experience. I came across this and just wanted to say try and be kinder. We all could do better. God Bless
