I have used Manely firm on some very ugly personal family business several times and always felt they interpreted the law to me clearly including any caveats that could occur. I was more disappointed in the Ga laws, not their performance. They handled my concerns and my emotional state very professionally.Attorneys are always a bit pricey, but my only mistake was by NOT USING THEM during my divorce. I went cheaper up front and sure enough the other attorney cheated me, and cost me more in the end.I feel this firm is worth all the recommendations I can give them.

We had a difficult adoption case that involved broken homes and a broken boy who needed something good to happen in his life.We were caught it a gray area; not close enough to be considered family and not far enough to remain anonymous.The Manely Firm, with their dedicated team of specialists navigated all the twists and turns. I knew it was going to be a challenge and I'm glad I did the leg work up front to find these guys.I never had to wait on a call. Even if they didn't have an answer yet, someone always promptly returned my call and gave me an update.They are good people.

Based on a well designed tactical plan and preparation for An international Parental Kidnapping to Egypt after a marriage lasted for six years with an NPD ( which I discovered on a later stage), as part of the plan by an unlawful spouse, to reallocate me from NY to her comfort zone prior to the 9 month prior to the kidnapping Incident. Sorry, for the long intro but I had to mention it to show the complexities of the case. Anyway, after shortlisting five law offices in Atlanta, the Mannelly The firm was selected based on his Surgical Experience in the Hague Convention ( HCCH) As well terms of the number of cases delegated and won, Of course to the knowledge Of the UCCJEA Ga. Code Ann. 19.Micheal, Dina, and the entire team has not spared any efforts to investigate, research, contacting the law enforcement accelerates the process of filing the reports, in less than a week we had a primary hearing scheduled at Fulton Superior Court, and the Plaintiff or anyone to represent them did not show up! Since she was outside the US in a Non-Hague convention signatory... At this stage, Micheal, Dina and I took a collective decision, where to upgrade the case to the, DoE and by her turn she deals with all the national a d inywrnatioaml buddies in addition of handling the case with Egyptian authorities ( it's a Zoo)! Aside from that, of course, I would have continued with Mike and Dina, though, with a personality like mine, as well my work background I am into the very tiny details and the elements of the case, Like any office environment, minor professional conflicts or disagreement during the course of the planning, however both them on the personal

Because I had a complex International case, I found that the Manely firm were the only attorneys who had the expertise and knowledge of international law to be able to bring my case before the court. If you are planning to use this firm, please runaway from this firm. Day light robbery!!!! They might as well put a mask on and rob my bank account. They are dishonest, and do not have your interest. I urge anyone who is considering using this firm to please not do it.

I used this firm to help with my divorce and child custody settlement. Jennifer Lowery was my attorney, which I understand isn't affiliated with this practice any longer. She was nice at first until she got my retainer and then she was rude and impatient. She ran my bill up to $21,000 in less than 3 months of service. I couldn't afford to continue to fight for custody and I had to settle at mediation. I hired her mid December of 2014 and the divorce papers were signed toward the end of March 2015. I feel confident that if my case were to go in front of the judge that the end result would have been in my favor, but I couldn't afford to proceed since it had already cost me $21,000 in 3 months. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous! I was desperate for help and she made me feel as if she had my back, but when I spoke to her she seemed annoyed with me. I have joint custody of my child and I have to pay child support which is hard for me financially. I feel as though this firm is out for the bottom line. Just tell the client whatever you have to to get money and hook them. I have spent the last 4 years paying off that debt. I am just now independent again. This should have never happened and I think it is malpractice. I'm only giving them one star because I have to or else it won't post. Would be a zero if I could. NEVER use this firm!!!!!

Michael and Staff have been there whenever I have needed them for anything even after the fact and their service was over...They have treated us like family and the experience has been amazing with my case!..I call them the Pura Vida Firm!

I hired the Manely Firm in June/July for emergency motion for my daughter. I spoke with Michael Manely in my initial consultation. It was wonderful. Yet, that changed when I was assigned to attorney Daesike Shin GA Bar No. 989885. He completely blew through my retainer and extensive fees were accumulated for doing research, asking questions over the phone in which emails/documents were previously provided with those answers. Unfortunately, in less than 3 months I racked up $5000 with ONE court appearance. A year later I receive a Notification of intent to withdraw, confused as to why this wasnt filled in September 2018, when I informed Daesike, along with providing the Illinois court order that the ruling and case is no longer in Georgia jurisdiction. When I ask, Daesike was very rude, not compassionate, and downright combative to the point of accusing me of being argumentative over the phone. I simply wanted a definitive answer and assurance that the matter is over. I can not say the law firm itself is bad, but I cautiously warn those who are unfortunate to receive Daesike Shin.

David Purvis represented me in a case against my ex-wife. David won the case for me and my kids and I could have not been more pleased with his work on our behalf. While the opposing attorney relied on smear tactics and the typical 'muddying of the waters,' David stuck to the facts and did so without being disrespectful to my children's mother. I have learned that family law can be an emotional rollercoaster filled with a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. David has the sort of calm, caring personality that makes him ideally suited for this type of litigation. He is smart, thoughtful and was a real stabilizing force through the whole ordeal. I can recommend him without hesitation to anyone who's family matters need counsel. He's a great lawyer and even better human being.

I cant say enough good about this firm I was represented by David Purvis and he picked up where my first attorney dropped the ball and was let go. Mr Purvis was dedicated to doing everything possible and always had my best interest in mind. Divorce is difficult and there were times I wanted to just give in to get it over with but Mr Purvis continued to give support and when it was over I was glad that he was was on my side . Because of him I was able to move forward both financially and emotionally with my life.

These people should be in jail. My family paid almost 25,000 dollars to get me a divorce. First they made me sign a waiver to get a divorce and then they lied about my husband and tried to charge him with things he didn't do. They traumatized me for life and told me one day to pack my bags to move to a beach house . I didn't even know what state it was in or how to pay for it . How crazy is that?? The list goes on and on with total corruption. And we didnt get a penny back for all the hurt and trauma they put me thru. It's still costing my family a fortune a year later. I would rate them ten stars on abuse!!! Although even that is enough for traumatizing me and hurting my family for life!!! Only jail is right now!! And I have plenty of proof !!! I now have to go on disability from these lawyers for ptsd. Megan and Manely tell so many lies that they have no conscience . My job this year is to let the whole world know about how they hurt people bad and their criminal activity .

Stay away from this law firm. Owner Michael Manely also owns practice within this practice' Justice Cafe.' They hire incompetent inept attorneys who screw you over and won't take responsibility for their incompetence. I tried to resolve this issue directly with these morons like a civilized adult and they ignored me and my complaint totally. I then reported them to BBB and once again these incompetent scam artists ignored them. If you are a legitimate law firm and represented me properly why not defend yourself instead of running away? Own your incompetence and learn from it. I finally reported these clowns perpetrating as attorneys to the Ga State Bar.

The legal acumen displayed at all levels from Mr. Manely, to my assigned Lawyer Megan McClinton, the Para Legal and Aids that worked on my case is top notch.I felt well represented at all times and the team legitimately cared for the best interest of my son. Do not under any circumstances put your faith trust or money into this business. The service provided by the attorneys that we were dealing with and paying was horrible. They took money for service that they did not provide and we have been requesting a refund since the beginning of December and as of today have not received it. I would not refer or ever utilize their service again.
