Glen is the BEST of the best- hands down! My divorce took a year until it was final. Glen and Debbie answered every call and question I had. He made sure I was taken care of. He is brutally honest even with his client, but personally I would prefer that over an attorney that takes your money and gives false hope. I have been divorced for 2 years now, and still to this day they answers any questions or concerns that I have. Like I said- He is the best of the best and worth every dime I paid him!

If it were possible to give a negative star I certainly would. This is the most unprofessional excuse for a lawyer I have ever had this mispleasure to have represent me. He was referred to me by a friend that had done some business with him in the past. Because of the lack of a lot of money and desperation I chose Mr. Stinson. First off... his office is a dump. I have seen a trash can in the middle of the 1970s lobby catching water from a leak. But most importantly his lack of manners and human decency is what is first and foremost. He repeatedly cursed at me and talked to me like a dog. Mr. Stinson called himself representing me while I was pregnant in a lawsuit against the father of my child as well as seaking child support once the baby was born. I ended up having to pay Mr. Stinson $8k. When asked to see an itemized bill I was simply told thats not how Glen works. Given the person I was in a lawsuit against his lawyers had interviewed multiple people and act done some real work none of this was ever done on my behalf. Not one person was ever questioned on my behalf not so much as a phone call for a witness. Yet he had me begging people to be witnesses therefore destroying any chance of me ever being able to use their testimony in the future. But yet what was 8k for? To file paperwork apparently. So many things I would like to say but I hope you get the idea. Oh but lets not forget this jerk dropped me the week of my mediation and refused to represent me once the opposing team was threatening to sue him. After all was said and done the opposing team ... after they had wiped the floor with me said I had a legitimate case but lucky for them I had a terrible lawyer. I however didnt think it was as amusing. So dont walk away...Run away! Im currently filling against Mr. Hickman for misrepresentation. He did way more harm than good.

A family friend engaged him as his attorney. Not only did he delay in returning phone calls, he offered little or no help with his legal struggles. Additionally, when the client requested an itemized list of charges, he was told that he didn't have time to do this and there would be an additional charge. I was under the impression that lawyers kept running records of contacts with clients.

I have had two interactions with Glen Stinson, both of which ended in him threatening to have me arrested. I asked him to please call the police and have me arrested as I knew for a fact that I had not broken any laws either time. Both times I was let go after a very brief conversation with the city of Dallas police without so much as a verbal warning. He is an abusive, bullying, curmudgeon who has no business representing the city of Dallas as the city attorney. If the city wants to move past the good old boy image they need to prevent people like him from being in power.

I met with Mr. Stinson for a (proposed) 30-minute consultation. The consultation fee was $50, that had to be paid before meeting with the attorney. There was a giant sign in the from reception area that said the fee must be paid before meeting with the attorney (I think I understand the reasoning for this). I had explained to his receptionist that morning that I had filed my divorce pro se (I am a legal representative at a global firm in a different practice area, and I am presently in law school). I felt like I should hire an attorney to carry out the remaining divorce proceedings (i.e. obtaining a Rule Nisi hearing and reaching a final judgment faster in my case.). I met with Mr. Stinson for 9 minutes, which consisted entirely of him telling me of how great of a lawyer he is, and he mad some analogy that he is like buying a Polo from Macy's and ALL other attorneys are Marshalls/TJ Maxx. He said that the courts call him to represent high caliber clients, and that he didn't even need my business. Then he began telling me that I am not smart enough to represent myself (he didn't know that I am in the legal field and in law school). I explained that I filed pro bono because I have three children and I understand the law enough to handle a lot of this myself. He again stated that I was dumb and that he is the best and that I could not handle the divorce myself (he was being really hateful about the matter), so I stood up and walked out. His receptionist was not at her desk, and he was walking down the hall. I turned and ask if he would be giving me the check back or if I should just stop payment. He screamed at me and said if I cancelled the check he would have me thrown in jail. He did not provide me with a consultation. We never talked about my case, and he never even looked at the documents I had filed. This man is hateful. Needless to say, I called my bank. Save yourself the trouble, after all, he 'doesn't need your business anyway.'
