He will take his time to explain things in a manner in which you will understand. He will lay everything out step by step as to what he will do for you and he will not sugar coat anything. My experience was solid! As a type A personality, It was difficult for me to fully intrust another person who would be affecting the rest of my life. To my surprise, I always felt my case was on track and never steered in the wrong direction. Sam is warm, and compassionate during our one on one meetings and becomes a beast in the court room when fighting for my position. These lawyers are dealing with emotions, love, resentment, injustice, rejection and children - and they have to draft agreements that will balance it all and shape people's lives. As a client, you have to be extremely demanding when choosing your lawyer - someone who will defend your interests, explain you the rules and keep you away from avoidable fights. Disclaimer all cases are different and my individual story is not necessarily indicative of all outcomes. I met John back in October and immediately upon having a conversation with him he reminded me of a high powered corporate attorney that I had dealt with at work. He listened to my objectives and the overall situation. He gave me his take on what he thought the outcome would be. He always tempered my expectations while still working his hardest to accomplish my goals and spend as little of my money as possible while still representing me to the fullest of his abilities. In the end I got a little more than I was originally looking for because we went to trial and it became an all or nothing situation. My ex was not interested in mediation. I ended up with primary custody of my kids and a reasonably equitable division of assets. I was told anecdotally by others there would be no way for a father to get primary but the situation worked out well and we had a reasonable judge. Im beyond happy with my representation. These guys might not be the least expensive option up front but they will do everything they can to get you the outcome you need. I cant thank them enough the whole team was professional and awesome.
