the young lady said I had to give her credit card information, I did not know who she was, just to make an appointment, I thought that concept was a little bit, ridiculous! it persuaded me to figure out how to complete the divorce forms myself, which I did. And the cost to submit them to the courts. That cost was only$215.

She deleted my negative review and another former client's negative review due to giving her a single star. That's just Terri-ble! 5 stars for maintaining marginally positive reviews (however misleading).I thought my previous review was light, general and unspecific. But this is my latest review 1/26/19. Upon discovering my ex-wife relocated to Florida with my child without requesting my permission, I felt forced to hire an attorney. I read Terri's reviews and was impressed added by the fact that she is female black attorney (I support black businesses). Upon contacting her, I felt immediately secure. She spoke eloquently, confidently, knowledgeable, and even questioned my intentions/motives. I respected her discernment of whether I was being truthful, honest, and forthcoming. She has a 'no nonsense' personality. I liked her even more!The main issues were the following:1) Terri-ble billing system. I still have not received a receipt to show billable hours.2)Terri-ble communication. Phone conferences are primarily conducted on the cell phone while driving in Atlanta traffic with wind noise, breaks for incoming calls (not sure if I was being billed while waiting on hold while she spoke with other clients), and music.3) Terri-ble office management. Her husband is the office manager; however, his phone etiquette is less than desirable. I thought he was a cool guy, but I was paying for a professional experience. 4)Terri-ble receptionist. There is no receptionist. I was being polite. If Terri is unavailable, the answering service picks up to take a message. Sometimes you call and her husband picks up, sometimes the answering service, and on special occasions...Terri picks up. Impressive.5)Terri-ble termination. It took 4 emails and 2 phone calls to get her off my case. She's not easy to terminate. I was finally able to hire another attorney a few months after this experience.

Ms.Herron don't play no games she is very passionate in what she do and about her clients. She awesome and would recommend her services.

When the mother of my daughter first decided she didn't want to allow me to have a relationship with my daughter, I thought the court system was easily going to allow me to be a dad to my daughter. I paid for DNA testing when my daughter was born as well as ensuring I was listed as 'Father' on the Birth Certificate. Surely I had rights. (NOPE!!) My daughter's mother works in the system and used the system to her advantage. The most painful day I can remember was when I found out that I still had no rights as a father. I continuously went from court house, to lawyer, to court house for a year and a half before Attorney Terri Herron was brought to my attention. As soon as I spoke to her, I knew everything would be okay. It took a little while because the system is the system, but I finally get to be a father to my daughter again. My only wish is that I would have known about Terri two years ago. I could never get the missed time back, but if I would not have called Terri, I would still be lost in the process and my daughter will grow older each day, thinking her dad doesn't want to be with her (or whatever her mom was telling her). I recommend this attorney to anyone. Terri was honest with me the whole way through and when it came to the court room, she does it well.Thanks so much.

My child's mother refused to let me see my child. Not only was Ms. Herron able to help me obtain Joint Custody , I was able to get my son's last name changed to mine. Im grateful to Ms. Herron and her staff. Kristina, Shanna, and Ms. Bonita were very professional.

Honestly I should have known when I laid hands on her business card. The black background with a white border, looks far more like something a club bouncer would hand out or a DJ advertising at a kids party rather than a professional business card presented by a learned attorney. This is the worst experience I have ever had with an attorney in my life. Ms. Herron prepared for my case literally the night before and arrived in a total state of disarray, not to mention her bad oral hygiene. I worked with Ms. Herron for over a month prior to trial and could never reach her, she has no paralegals that Im aware of, only a receptionist and is always out of office, phone calls are never returned promptly and when they are she ensures the calls are brief lasting only 60 seconds regardless of the content. Ms. Herron possesses the knowledge base of a first year law student from a third tier law school at best. The judge throughout my case continuously corrected her, the judge even told her when to object to certain evidence presented by the other party!!! Ms. Herron had no idea of court procedures such as asking the judge when to approach rather than just walking up. Save your retainer fee go elsewhere or even go shopping with your money and represent yourself!!!! Her AAVO rating is a total joke and should not be trusted. I used that as a reference and deeply regret it. STAY AWAY!!!!!
