Ive had several lawyers throughout the ordeal my ex has and continues to put me through. I can confidently and safely claim that She has been THE BEST, bar-none. I hope to continue to keep her on retainer until I am DONE with my ex issues. She is worth every penny! I will say the key things I love about HER is: She cares (you are not just a paycheck) about your situation. She is strong and knows how to win against toxic opponents. Leslies previous reviews hold up; a pitbull in a skirt is exactly what she is, but rarely does she have to use it. Her extensive knowledge of the Law and level headedness kept my parenting plan and life where it should be. Leslie, Evelyn, and the rest of her team took my child and mine's best interests to heart and worked tirelessly to dismiss an absurd petition for modification. With previous firms, we felt like we had to do the leg work and that key things were missed that could have helped our case. Leslie used previous trial references and referenced every applicable law. She calmly stated facts but the judge already had the exact idea. The other party enlisted hysterics and drama, throwing everything at the judge to see what would hold up. Leslie did not play into their baiting or games for a second. She is well respected throughout the courts and it shows. Leslie also treats you like a person, not another case file, and protects your finances and reputation instead of exploiting you like many other firms. Someone at her firm always answers your call and has an answer immediately or gets back to you in a timely manner with the appropriate answer. I would absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone no matter how seemingly winnable or hopeless your case may be.

I've had the blessing of Leslie Bottimore representing my family law, post-secondary education support case that involved an ex-husband/estranged father from hell...and that is putting it mildly!! This case was drug through the courts for years, off and on, due to my ex and his crazy making abuse of power via the family court system. He made it his life's work to harass our college age child, myself and even my new husband and our extended family members. Leslie is not only compassionate and kind, but has always come to court well prepared, confident and knows how to shut down a crazy man, time and time again. She may be soft spoken, but she is definitely a powerhouse with her words and skills within the legal system. She is very familiar with the judges, how they operate and how best to approach a case. She was able to accomplish everything our child needed to complete their college degree and keep support until they are able to get on their feet. I am sorry to say that I would never recommend this firm. Doing the process of my divorce. There were two of Leslie's assistants that always found ways where I could not speak to my attorney. I remember a time when I went to the office to speak to my attorney and Evelyn cut me off and said that I could not speak to her. I had asked many times not to print my documents because it was already sent to my email and I did not want to pay postage. I was being charged for everything. They are only interested in getting your money. I would get invoices of my balance and would be surprised that I was being charged so much after I had given them more money. I was unaware of more chargers because I thought the money I had given them was enough. But it wasn't. The communication is horrible. I remember I went into the office one day to drop of more documents and one of there clients was very upset and was yelling at Evelyn and asking why cant I speak to my attorney. She also said when I call you always yell at me and of course Evelyn said she did not. That was false information because when I would call and ask questions she would have a nasty attitude and would want to argue with me as well. As my divorce was wrapping up I thought the money I had just given them again was enough. Well Well I was in shock when they sent me the final bill of 1900.00. Know one communicated with me that I was being charged more money. I called the office and spoke to Kathy and told her I don't have anymore money. She said we don't allow monthly payments. I told her then I don't know what I'm going to do. I explained to her every time you requested for money I paid it. So I have been making payments and noticed they charge interest if your bill is not paid in full. Please do your research when looking for a good attorney.

After meeting with other attorneys Leslie took her time with me and really listened to fully understand my situation and patiently explained to me the process and all of my options. She was kind and compassionate and so knowledgeable. I knew that I found the right attorney and I'm so grateful to have the balance of her experience, professionalism and compassion.

Very thorough and was a bull dog when we needed her to be. Took care of my mother's divorce and my mother has never been happier and stress free. So referred and had my friend hire her during a bitter divorce of a cheater who left her for a much younger woman and tried taking her two young children. Happy to see that they had a happy conclusion. Would recommend!

I, Kathleen Forrest, was one of two attorneys present at the mediation with Ms. Bottimore and Courtney Moore. My client, (the father) and I had nothing but praise for Ms. Bottimore. Mediations are very challenging especially when one partys proposal is unreasonable. The parties reached agreement and settled the case, because of Ms. Bottimores ability to connect to both parties and reach common ground. Ms. Bottimore did not just exchange proposals between the parties; she made the parties focus on the best interest of the child and the parties eventually settled. Since reaching agreement, the parties have been following that parenting plan, and have been able to successfully co-parent, without incident. Terrible for mediation. Shes all rainbows and butterflies and lets hold hands which may work for some couples, but she completely lacks the ability to read the room and adapt to people who need a more black and white approach. I would say we reached a settlement despite her not because of her. Very frustrating day.
