Donna Person Smith and her team has worked with us since early 2017. We sot her out to help aid in support of our family in some pretty delicate personal family issues. Her office has been very helpful and fair in this whole process. We had no idea we would be with her for 2+ years almost 3 now. When we have needed her team they have been there for us. They have been the go between when we needed them most and have helped us deal with the state. It hasn't been easy for them as their offices are in Pierce County and we are in Thurston County. They have been very supportive and a wise ear to lean on. We would recommend her and her team for family law needs.

Dont be misled by this person.2 1/2 months and over $10,000.00 in fees I was kicked out of my home and had my dogs taken from me for alleged abuse. (My dogs are my whole world)Donna told me I didnt have to be At this hearing because it was a hearing to restrain us from selling or disposing of assets. I never met the person Donna sent into court for me and this person didnt know anything about my case, but my husband showed up with his 4th attorney and a 27 page declaration full of lies, Whoever was there didnt even know enough about my case to defend me.I was informed while at work my husband put an emergency restraining order on me that day in late August however I was allowed to go home to grab some clothes.Donna wouldnt respond to my emails or phone calls for 9 days and then yelled at me in an email for trying to get information about false insurance claims that were my reason for wanting the divorce. (Yeah, she yelled at me in an email) 9 days after I was ordered to leave my home with out my dogs.I hired a new attorney and I still got calls from Donnas office but they never left a message.I got my dogs back in an ex parte hearing within three weeks.8 1/2 months later, on Mothers Day, I was able to go pick up my personal items that my husband would allow me to have.Hopefully Ill be divorced by the one year mark of filing.

My attorney is Jessica Heath and this has been a very long and drawn out case. But she has really been busting it out even though my ex refuses to reply or comply with anything she still stays on top of everything and is really pressuring to get it handled and so far everything has pretty much gone in my favor. I mean its expensive of course, but worth every penny for the results we have gotten. If you need someone who's gonna be in your corner and fight for you then ask for Jessica! Shes very hard working, thorough, and honest. Best attorney I could have ever asked for. There arent enough words to thank her for all shes done to keep my daughter and I safe.

My free consultation was half the allotted time. Donna said she didnt want to know the details unless she was my attorney. When I did pay the company, my representative (Not Donna Person Smith) showed up late for court. They did nothing to defend me and appealed the loss referencing a case that the court found had no relation to my case. $1600 for nothing. Pricilla (the next representative from the firm) was at least nice and seemed enthusiastic. I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

I wait 3 days and call again and the same exact thing happens. Finally call a 3rd time for a follow up but just keep getting the run around. Most unprofessional Law office ever.

I honestly cannot say enough about Donna and her paralegal, Jill! I was going through a very complex custody situation. I could not find an Attorney that wanted to deal with the complexities of my case and I was in a time-sensitive situation. I googled 'Attorneys in Puyallup', and Donna was the first person I happened to call. She took my call right away, and we discussed my case. She was the first lawyer I talked to that showed genuine compassion and felt that what I was going through was as important as I did. I went and met with her and I knew immediately that I needed her to represent me. With Donna's aide, I was in front of judge in TWO business days! It has been almost exactly two months and my case is near resolved with the outcome that I have been dreaming of for years! I honestly just cannot say enough about her. She was always there to answer my calls, return my emails, and answer my texts immediately. If anyone has ever had poor representation, then you know how important these things are. I know this is a long review, but I just feel so strongly about her. I have and would DEFINITELY recommend Donna to anyone that is in need of a lawyer.

Horrible, dishonest, and incompetent. Went to Donna because of her years of experience but shortly after she took my case she handed it over to an associate attorney with less than a year of experiance. She will ask for a flat rate few but finds reasons to demand more money, saying the case is more complicated then what she originally thought. Chelsea messed up my parenting plan and asked for the complete opposite of what I asked for. I eventually reported her and her associate attorney to the bar association. She completely ruined my case, thank god for my current attorney that cleaned up her mess and made things right. My case ended up the way I had hoped but not because of her. DONT TRUST THIS LAW FIRM IF YOU CASE IS IMPORTANT.
