This law firm was extremely stressful and frustrating to deal with. Communication was very poor and the vast majority of my emails and text messages went unanswered for very long periods of time. Lyliane did not present any form of a defense strategy despite numerous inquiries from me, so I spent a lot of time gathering and organizing evidence that directly contradicts the police report. Much to my dismay, she ignored most of the evidence I put together and only focused on the police report, giving the officer full benefit of the doubt. I felt like I was representing myself at times since I was doing a huge chunk of the legal homework. She eventually withdrew from the case at a very bad time a few days before a motion hearing that I had already booked a flight for, and I had to find another attorney on short notice. Giving 2 stars only because she agreed to refund a portion of my legal fees for failing to complete her contractual agreement. I used the partial refund to hire a new attorney who immediately (as in, the same day I hired him) negotiated a favorable outcome for my case using the EXACT same information that I shared with Lyliane. The second attorney was far more responsive and he knew that we had a very strong defense argument after reviewing ALL of the evidence.
