I suffered a dogs attack last year, looked for legal assistance and the Carlson Law Firm said I had a case . I requested assistance in Spanish and I clearly stated I could not take any phone calls due to my workplace policy of no cellphones use is allowed in the building, and written communications will be needed, the assistant, Michelle Gunera agreed to do so, but problems started soon . They didnt returned my calls, I didnt get any letters, not even a text message, when I could get in contact , this lady, Ms. Gunera made feel like the one who should know the process was me, the one who should do her job, would be me too , and every question I had, she answered like if she was working for the other side,. She didnt keep up with getting all parts connected, the attorney, the doctor and me. My doctor said I had a previous condition that was definitely worsen by the dogs attack, and surgery will be needed. I informed about this, and about thee months later, I was informed by Gunera that a call was missed by me, one single call that was never attempted again, she said time had gone by, and now the Dogs owner insurance could argue anything they want due to the time factor, and once again, blaming me for not doing her job,when she didnt know how many phisycal therapy sessions were authorized, she was not aware either how many my doctor requested, and of course, she was not there to inform me what steps to follow. My case was dropped. I didnt get the medical attention I was needing, The explanation I got from Gunera was that they could not sue anybody with bills barely reaching $1000 dlls, (I wonder now where all this bills for almost 5k came from?)and once again she sounded like working for the other side, saying something about why If I fell the dog didnt attacked me?This confirmed my feeling of this lady misleading information in every way. No one but three dogs attacked me, I never said that I fell down, I had to run and kick the dogs, two actions my doctor believes worsened my condition.I requested an appointment in person with the case manager. I had understood my case was already dropped, and I didnt feel like I wanted to continue working with a firm where personal might be rude, not professional, unable to follow up with information, or at least get the right information as well as to provide the right information to the customer and make the process flow in an easier way,.She never seemed to be organized, didnt monitor calls or calendar, and if she didnt provided me the right information, I highly doubt she did it with the attorney. I never got that appointment with the case manager. Instead I got a text message, incomplete, with no signature, stating that Ms Gunera had informed I wanted to speak about their discontinuing representation on my personal injury claim, which was incorrect, I just wanted to give my feedback about the attention provided to my case and the poor customer service I got from Gunera. They mentioned again the fall ,(once again, I didnt fall), and all the arguments the adjuster/ defense attorney would bring up, but I never, ever heard anything about what they could do to win my case.

They were very great and very petient with me. They showed me and treated the help, me with respect and with my decisions. They are very dedicated group of individuals. If you're in need of help, they are you're answer. Thank you so much for your excellent work!

Went in for a consultation for divorce today and the particular attorney I spoke with had already made up her mind about me & my situation without letting me speak whatsoever. These people ask for a $4K retainer, just to collect & not take your case seriously at all. She was not at all interested in anything I had to say. You know how I know? Because I could not get a word in edgewise. She literally told me that she wasn't hearing anything from me to be that 'extreme' when I had basically said nothing to her at all. I was in the room with her for maybe 5 minutes and she spoke 99% of that time. I wish I got her name, but she made me so upset that I just left. I will be using the attorney that was initially my 1st choice. Carlson was only an option out of curiosity. Thanks but no thanks!

I hired Cassandra after receiving a Ticket while I was Visiting Texas. I live in a different state and was having trouble with the court. Cassandra and her legal assistant Laura were a huge help! I was in a very bad car accident and sustained some pretty serious injuries including fractures that required extensive treatment. Tim Roehrs and Sam Vega were very knowledgeable when it came to personal injury lawsuits. They always explained the who, what, when, where, why and how so that I understood how the process would go. Filed Bankruptcy and case was closed. However, there was a lien from a company for a water softener placed on my house (before bankruptcy). I knew nothing about the lien nor was I told during the initial meeting to look for liens against my house. I was told to just get a list of the creditors and did just that.The company ISPC had a lien loan with me and placed it on lien against the house. Carlson Law Firm removed the creditor however the lien was not removed. They were unaware of the lien and again so was I. We were never informed to even search the possibilities of liens. Now it will cost an additional $1500 to reopen a case for a creditor that was supposedly removed from my stuff. It was not totally removed and I feel this is wrong business practice. I was told that no attorney will reopen the case for anything less. So, now for a creditor I did report to them but Carlson Law Firm never informed me of even a possibility of liens I am out an additional $1500 on top of what I paid originally. Seems to me this is in poor taste however they will not do anything about it unless I pay $1500.Oh the person I explained the issue said that 'we all have to accept responsibility' and that it was basically my fault. I have no legal experience and hired them to help me. Not just get my money and file a case for their books.

I just recently wrapped up my law suit with Carlson. It took longer than anticipated but my legal assistant Norma and my attorney Jody ensured me that it was better to wait out the time because they were working on pushing for the greatest outcome for my settlement. They kept me informed through the whole process and let me know whenever things were changed or submitted and in the end was more than what I expected. Overall great job!

Not to delighted with thier upkeep on records. I called in thinking about hiring for a divorce a few weeks ago and when I finally go in to set up an app my records aren't anywhere in the system.I already spent to Much time on the phone and now I'm supposed to fill out all this paperwork? No thank you. Thier paperwork is too much too handle when time is limited and we got to much on our mind. I'm sorry I can't tell you how to run your business but if I was asked how it could get done better I'd say have a three part session with paperwork, some people don't want to waste time on their first session.
