I hired David back in 2016 ro represent me in my son's custody hearings. I highly regret every moment and dollar spent. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. He is very unprofessional and is demeaning towards his clients. He does not respond promptly to calls or emails. I can not say better for his staff. As a client you have rights to your reports and he refuses to provide them to me. I asked several times for a detailed report, my expenses report, to see how and where all my finances were being utilized as he kept asking for more. I hired him yet his secretary, his wife left me a message stating that David want to have a meeting with me and my brother who had nothing to do with the case. When I showed up alone to the meeting they scheduled only to find they locked me out of the office and would not speak to me about MY case unless my brother was present. He has been reported to the board. Please save yourself the money and extra stress. Find another Lawyer

If I could give 0 stars, or negative, I would. We gave this guy our entire savings to get custody of our niece. He told us it would be an open and shut case guaranteed to win. He actually sounded like he cared and wanted to work with us. That was 2 years ago and nothing has been done and we can't get our money back without hiring ANOTHER lawyer to fight him. Your consultation is with Mr. Thedford but after that youll only talk to his wife, IF you can get her on the phone! I heard every excuse in the book. She was sick, she was on vacation, she was sick again, she's short handed. At one point she finally admitted that she had LOST our file!! Most unprofessional, uncaring, selfish people I have ever had to deal with. Run far away from this place. If you threw $4,000 in the trash you would get the same amount of legal assistance.

This guy is trash! I have heard from several family members and friends that he is just a con artist. Took there hard earned money and provided no services what so ever. Shame on you Mr.Thedford! Smh

got a case from 2016 and keeps Postponing it does not return calls emails nor does his secretary say they will call never do left multiple messages I understand he sick and wheeling in a wheel chair in and out the hospital but these are lives your saying you gonna help and act like you care when really he dont care a dam bit

Hired David Thedford to get custody of my step daughter. First he quoted us a price that would take care of everything. Prepaid in full. He did not show up for the hearing and sent a replacement that was thumbing thru our case on the fly. Then it was time for the final hearing. He requested more money and stated that it was not included in the original quote. Again prepaid in full. Once again he did not show up for the second hearing and sent a replacement. I truly believe we only won because the biological mother did not show up, and judge could see she was clearly not fit to take care of her anymore. Now that court is over we finally received our paperwork signed by the Judge and is full of mistakes! They even said that her biological mother appeared in court when she did not and said that my step daughter was a male among other mistakes! We have called and emailed several times and continue to get the run around.... 'it's not a big deal', 'We'll look into it', or 'we will file an amendment', 'we have hundreds of clients', 'we've been on vacation' the excuses go on and on. After so many excuses and given the run around for so long I finally told David today that we need these documents to be correct! He proceeded to get upset with me and asked why we needed them. That what we have was perfectly ok! I explained that there is an open case of injury to a child involved and the police recommended that the paperwork be correct. He then proceeded to get more upset and said he would no longer speak to me and would from now on only speak to my husband. I am actually very scared to even post this review out of fear of retaliation. We still don't have the correct paperwork and he was so ugly on the phone. I am only sharing my experience for others to be able to make an educated decision when hiring a lawyer.
