total rip off, I had an attorney Shawn Walker take my case and told me he had a lot of experience in probate and it would take around $3000 to get this will accepted. He wrote one executor of estate objection and one modification to it. He meet with me twice for less than 2 hours and 3 phone calls. He then went to court one day where nothing happened because the other attorney postponed the court case, he then said he didn't have the experience for this and wanted to bring on other attorneys in his firm. He even recommended I find another attorney somewhere else because his firm is expensive and that he is on Salary and gets paid weather he does work or not . He gave me a bill of $5300 then said I have to have him to continue in court and everyone else is to busy to take this case. He then wanted a $7000 retainer when he first said it could come out of the estate, Because he said I would have a hard time finding another attorney because of the short time period I agreed to pay the retainer if he promised to meet me with his new attorney at his firm first before he did any work. So I could provide all of the evidence so they could properly proceed. I signed the fee agreement on Friday Feb 7th and asked him to not do any work until we meet. on Monday 3 days later over a weekend I told him it was to expensive I have plenty of evidence and don't feel I even need representation, and would like the retainer back. Now he emailed that he is only refunding 4146, how could he spend $2854 when agreed if he wouldn't use that money until we meet which we didn't. I felt from the beginning that this guy is a crook now I know. I will be forwarding this to all avenues of better business until they refund the retainer he agreed not to use until we meet.

I just want to say publicly thank you for the work and help. The firm was able to help me trough a big mess and was very informative and helpful. I never felt they did something without asking me about it or showing me what they were doing. I worked with them for a year so please take my review seriously.

This firm charged me 2x for a demand letter for a contractor, charged me when I called in inquiring about the demand letter that was supposed to be emailed to me, and again when I had to call and ask for it again. I am over $1k into this firm and have had no help other than for them to sue me when I question their bill. Steer clear or be very careful with them.

The front office staff was very helpful. Great overall office moral. I worked with Julian Mars directly, he was very nice, respectful, and his work was very detailed. I would recommend this firm to anyone who desires a reputable attorney to handle their legal matters.

The worst experience of my life mr.pettit is nothing but a money grabber he doesnt car about your case just what he can make off of you he dragged my case out for a year he postponed 3 times his retainer was 5,000$ and an additional 7,000$ if we go to trial two days before we were supposed to go to court he told me he didnt think wed win and he thought we should settle so I settled because I trusted everything this guy told me so we were at the courthouse for 10 minutes and his office is 15 minutes away from there so a month after were all settled I get a bill for 9,000$ for what?.... he completely ripped me off thats more than what I wouldve paid if we went to trial for 2 days! Do not trust this guy or his assistant!

Worse experience I have ever had with any lawyer. I do not recommend this place at all. Very unethical business practice. Mr Pettit was the worst. I have done business with other lawyers previously so I do have an idea that not all lawyers are sharks like this guy was.
