Although I ended up getting what I want, there was so much stress and frustration. Ive spent thousands on papers we didnt use once in court. There small little hidden fees. My case was a custody issue so dealing with my daughter was very hard and emotional for me. That being said I would have appreciated more compassion , understanding and listening from Sarah. I felt like I wasnt heard and the answers I would give were shoved to the side or some how not good enough. If it werent for her assistance who is an angel. Im not sure I would have stayed. Over all I did get that I wanted but it was about $10,000 to cry and stress out. Everyone has there opinion.

Despite the complications involved (I am from out of state), Sarah sounded confident that she could get sole custody for me. And she did. She and Mesa were always there to calm me down when this case made me anxious, they made sure I understood the legal processes at work and that I understood my options. Divorce is nothing less of an emotional hardship! Its a scary, trying and stressful process. Sarah was not only friendly, she was a feisty lawyer who cares for what is best for her client. I was going through a year long and terrible divorce. Nothing the other side did got her off track. Sarah had no problems texting or calling the other attorney while he was playing golf. She was always there for my text, email and evening calls. She was quick to get back to me. She really cares about her clients. She cares about what is best for you and she will fight for you. Straight to the point: 5 stars, hands down, If you want someone that truly cares about what is best for you and has a passion to go above and beyond to achieve your goals look no further but please continue to read. My personal experience with O'Neill & Baldwin was with family law, more specifically divorce and child custody. Sarah Baldwin took a situation that I believed would never play out in my favor; as the father of my young daughter and knowing my particular county places a large emphasis on the mother being the primary parent, despite father's actual role, I believed I would be looking at the county's Model Parenting Plan, In short meaning only seeing my daughter 2 hours a day - 3 times a week, with only 2 overnights a month, That was not a option for me. After the dust and debris settled I ended up with only a handful of days short of a 50/50 parenting plan but in return for a few days of the year we were able to achieve a general judgement that guarantees the decisions made for my daughter will always be in her best interest. When it came to the other party involved in the case there was no effective communication between my ex and I, any attempt to come to a agreement was quickly wiped away, Sarah was able to intervene and approach both parties in a purely amazing way. I don't know how she was able to do it but it was incredible to witness. She was able to effectively listen to what both parties want and propose ideas that neither myself or my ex had thought of regarding a parenting plan. I believe that this knowledge and skill comes from a background and life dedicated to what she does. I found Sarah to be very involved in her community of attorney's focused on family law and she was able to use all resources available to get me where I am today. I mention that because there was no obstacle or challenge she wasn't prepared to tackle and if there was more to bring to the table to help me out she would go out of her way to find it. I also want to mention the fact that she was truly vested in me as a client. While I know she had a lot on her plate and in no way was I her only client or anywhere near wealthiest client i'm sure, I always felt like I was most important. Call, text, email anytime, any concern no matter how big or small, she was there, If I didn't get a hold of her on the spot I never worried because I could always count on a quick response or call back. To sum it up, There is no doubt in mind that I made the right decision trusting O'Neill & Baldwin. If you want someone that will put every bit of effort, knowledge, skill, and faith into fighting for you and someone who actually cares about what is best for you; you've found the right place. It would take a novel to explain everything we went through with this case, but Sarah never gave up or doubted me; In the end my daughter is the real winner, 5 stars, hands down.
