Law Office of Scott Niebling

While Scott might be a decent trial lawyer, he demonstrated nothing but lousy business skills to me because he never once returned any of my calls without me bothering him multiple times leaving voicemail when able (often his mailbox would be full and no way to leave a voice message), txt messages, e-mails, and it even took a complaint to the Oregon State Bar Association for him to return my phone calls and make initial contact with me when he was initially assigned as my public defender. He also never followed up on any calls when he said he would (A typical scenario would be Scott saying, 'I'll give you a call on Friday, after your hearing' and then not hear from him until the middle of the following week), and repeatedly changed our appointment times at the last minute, even though he knew that I don't drive and have to rely on the kindness of neighbors to get me to his office. It may be that if you are paying him cash, you will get better service and communication from him, but I would recommend looking for another lawyer if timely communication are responses to questions are important to you.

Scott has provided excellent service for us on two occasions, one for easement dispute for our business property and another for immigration interview waiver. The easement issue was a difficult case; the other party gave us attorney notification to withdraw us from the easement agreement. We spent quite a bit of expense hiring another law firm who didn't handle the case properly and also charge a high amount for a minimal service. We were desperate to find an attorney. Scott dealt with the situation professionally contacting the other party lawyers and filed an extension in the court for additional time. Scott recommended that we should not give up our rights and contest it in court. Scott persistence and handling all the legal procedures; the other party withdrew the case. We can't thank enough for his professional service throughout. The bill and accounting of his time were always accurate. The immigration waiver was also a difficult case. We approached an immigration attorney, and they refused to take the case due to slim chances of success. We contacted Scott if he can help us get through the waiver process. Scott, within a short span of two weeks, contacted the immigration office, was present during the interview process, and clarified all the questions, and successfully got through the citizen process. Finding an experienced and honest attorney can be stressful; we were glad we found Scott, and we have our highest recommendation for Scott.

Scott was a pleasure to work with and really knows how to get everything done correctly and in a timely manner! He worked on a family law case for me and never once disappointed us. In fact he went above and beyond. In the end we got the results and closure we were looking for. I would highly recommend Scott as an attorney. This Man is the biggest SHYSTER on the planet, he took my retainer and NEVER work on my case when I finally threaten him he responded with I don't have time for your case and then he had another attorney call me to solicit more money and expected me to just shell more money to his friend sense he scammed me out of money he thought he could have his friend scam me as well and still he has done NOTHING! on my case, he never refunded my money I hope anyone that has had the same experience with him will also file a complaint with the Bar and get him disbarred, this man is out to get free money.
