Don't let his youthful appearance deceive you into thinking he does not have the experience to represent you. He has the skill and ability to take on any opposing attorney. If I could give zero stars I would. I helped retain this law firm for my sister. They are unprofessional, overpriced and pathetic! They offer no support, all they do is make five minute phone calls and 30 second emails to wrack up your retainer fees. We paid 15K dollars and still not even close to a basic divorce being finished!! Stay far away from this firm they will drag it out just to take your money!

Called this law firm to help with a custody case that I had been served papers for from an estranged biological father who hadnt made any attempt to see children in over two years. Should have been told immediately that the case should legally be moved to the minors home state...not Oklahoma. Should have been told immediately that the childrens father should be charged with abandonment which would have essentially ended the custody case before it started. But how else would they have charged me $4000 for representing us in a case that never should have been? When you put your trust in a law firm concerning something as precious as your childrens welfare, you should be treated with honesty. Im very sad to say this was not the case with Stratton Law Firm. And certainly when you find out that youve been misled and misrepresented, and you try a dozen times to contact David Stratton, but never receive a call back?? Shame on you.

We petitioned for guardianship of our granddaughter, with Mike Matthis assigned to represent us. Other than the process taking longer than we had hoped or expected, we couldn't be any happier with the service we received. Mr. Matthis was always available, or quick to return calls. DO NOT GO WITH THIS FIRM. This is the first review I have ever done and I'm doing it to help future people going through a tough time. For a 4 year marriage paid 10k in alimony, I live in Alabama (Army) and can't take my children out of the state because of age 5/2 and have atrocious visitation. Not a single request was met and paid over $15,000 and they are still requesting money for doing absolutely nothing. A 5 minute phone call with a question that is bugging you will cost $50. Context, I'm a great dad and love my kids and would give my last penny for them and I literally did. My lawyer was Sofia and I hope this doesn't happen to you.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FIRM!! It seems to me that all they want is your money, they will charge you $50 for every single email they send or receive even if its the same email. They went thru 2 grand like it was nothing.
