It took over three months to get my retainer back.Katherine (Kate) Lewis kept losing my paperwork. She would request the same documents over and over and bill me each time she requested and reviewed them. Finally had to contact Corporate to get this stopped. She talked a big game, but when it went to Mediation she was more concerned about getting it settled than helping me (her client). During Mediation she actually told me, 'Sign the Mediation Paperwork or I will withdrawal as your attorney'. What attorney threatens their client, after they have already been paid $10,000?

They gave us hope that my boyfriends kids would be able to be in a safer environment. All they said was we cant do anything the judge didnt sign off $100 for one hour and we were there maybe 15 mins.

Spent 5 grand and got absolutely nowhere. They charge your $250-$300 PER PHONE CALL and EMAIl. We went backwards in my husbands' custody case and will spend another 5 grand to someone else to try and fix it. They aren't about helping dad's, they're about taking your savings and doing nothing to help. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!

Christian talked a good game, Katherine was ineffective. They promised to aggressively fight for my rights as a father. They only one fighting for me was the Guardian ad Litam. I would encourage any man that is serious about his role in his childs life to avoid Cordell and Cordell.

If you're after an attorney that's looking to nickel and dime you til you're broke with zero results this is your place. Never once felt like my attorney was on my side and huge lack of communication which in turn was ok because I was charged for every email and phone call to and from them... they're just there to punch a time clock. $5000 thrown away and not even a temporary order was set... so I fired them and was even charged for that and the email to me which wasnt even a paragraph long.

(My experience) If you want a child support attorney who rolls over for the opposite party, these guys are your best bet! I spent lots of money and my attorney got (them) everything they wanted. I would never consider using these folks again.
