Had Lawrence rep me for a contested custody relocation & modification after getting a promotion & relocation or of state from work. Worked with me, very to the point straight shooter & gives all aspects to you about your case. Best moment was at our PTC, he approached about a delicate piece of evidence the other side was going to present. Very professional in conduct given the evidence, when I presented the fact the evidence was falsified, he took care of it & got the best outcome possible. This was 4 years ago, but I'd definitely hire him again.

I, sadly have been divorced more than once. One of my experience cost me more money than I care to share in public. Using the Law Offices of Lawrence Goodwin was a smart move on my part. I was given a very honest assessment of how the divorce would happen and what I could expect. My-out of-pocket legal fees were a lot less than what I expected. I called was put on hold for a long time then they hung up on me. Once I got on the phone with the lawyer he seemed irritated.

Lawrence did an excellent job assisting me during my divorce. We never actually met in person, as I work overseas. He was able to help orchestrate everything via phone or email and was completely professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Call him!! I called at 1am for what I thought could be an emergency child custody issue. He saw me in his office just over 12 hours later for a free consultation. Thankfully, my issue has blown over, but I will not hesitate to call Lawrence back if needed.He is thorough, professional and easy to speak with. You will not be disappointed.

So all divorces are not the same and neither are all divorce attorneys. We all have heard you get what you pay for but I had no idea what my case was in for. After paying a consultation fee and a rather hefty retainer to another firm, I received no assistance and the day of my hearing I had a lawyer show up whom I had never seen before and he knew nothing about my case. And it showed in the results. Incomes were wrong, property was not mentioned and we left with less direction than when we got there. Then, I hired Lawrence and he did exactly what he said he could and would at my meeting with him, which he does not charge for. He was highly skilled in the Courtroom and made my ex look like the liar that he is. He was much more prepared than the opposition, which everyone in the Court could tell that the Judge appreciates preparation and getting to the point. Lawrence had no problem getting to the point so be prepared for honesty when meeting with him. No candy coating. Thats what I wanted when dealing with my kids and our future. I highly recommend him and his staff, Martha and Bri and I can tell you from first hand experience when youre going through a divorce or child custody issues, get the best its worth it!

I do not recommend this office. I've been sitting on doing this review for a while and It needs to be done. I came to him because of all the reviews he has, and the receptionist told me that there would be no issue with my case. I show up and after I tell him everything and have him read over the paperwork. After that he starts berating me for around 10 minutes just going on and on about how this is all my fault and how the other person is all in the right. I'm not sitting here typing this review because I'm butt hurt. I'm writing this because the level of unprofessionalism. It got so bad I had to interrupt him in the middle of him berating me and asked him 'so you're saying you cant help me?' And left. If you're not interested in a case just say so and leave it at that. Do not run your mouth and make that potential client feel less than for just asking for help.

Can't say enough about Lawrence and his team. My divorce was very contentious, lasting almost 1 1/2 years. They never wavered, always communicated with me. Kept me prepared. Despite several attempts at mediation, we ended up at trial -- the result was unbelievable. My alimony was barely 1/3 of opposing counsel's ask, and for less than half the amount of time asked. I would recommend Lawrence to anyone in need of a family law attorney. You'll never doubt that he has your best interests at heart.

I interviewed several attorneys for my child's custody case and each one kept quoting their retainer and giving me promise after promise. I finally met with Lawrence and his team and they refused to promise me things and tell me what I wanted to hear. They told me the truth, gave me the right advice, took the time to develop a case strategy with me, and were on my team from day one. The retainer may have been higher than the others but you get what you pay for. I have full custody of my beautiful boys, their father is finally paying child support on time, and I can finally breath and enjoy the time I have with my children as it was meant to be. Don't waste your time elsewhere...call these guys first.

I really didn't feel confident during the consultation. It felt like I was a burden during the time. The location is nice- receptionist was informational during the consultation he didn't seem interested to hear about my case. He was going thru papers on his desk and interrupting to speak with his assistant sitting next to him about other cases. The advice he did give me was... Self explanatory and common sense. I did appreciate his time but I decided to go with another firm who made time for me and didn't act like they were too busy to hear my case before giving me rates of their service.

I hired Lawrence Goodwin and associates to help me with a child custody dispute. they did exactly what they said they would do, they legally stopped my daughter's mother from keeping me out of her life and got some proper guidelines set for the both of us to follow. I had a very difficult dilemma concerning my ex-husband and child support. I was at a period in my life where I felt like I needed to progress forward in a positive direction, but my kids were in a negative situation with my ex-husband and something needed to be done about it. I researched 'Best Oklahoma City Attorney's' on Google, and came up upon the Law Offices of Lawrence Goodwin. I was very nervous, but the receptionist was very kind. I was afraid that people would treat me in a bad way, mostly because of my circumstances.
