Lisa Miller is biased and has failed to do her job neutrally. She should have recused herself from my case. Without having ever met me, or my family, she allowed her friends to persuade her to remove my children on April 15, 2016. She has ensured to place barriers which would facilitate a relationship between my children and I. Multiple times in court she has had to apologize for her erratic behavior. Yet she attests that I am the crazy one. Crazy because I believed my young children when they came to me for help. God help anyone who this lady is supposed to bring justice and protection. May I find the strength to forgive her egregious failings. When my children are old enough to understand it is she that played a major role in failing them, may they be able to forgive this woman.

Lisa is worth every penny I had to spend! She would always be prompt with showing up to court, was prepared, and would always answer my phone calls or call me back promptly! Amazing lawyer, thank you for everything.

She did right by my family. Her methods may be different than those of other attorneys locally, but they were effective, and she got the job done. She did try to save us from paying more than we had to, and we appreciate that. Thank you for a job well done!

Lisa does exceptional work! I particularly like that she doesn't try to drain your bank account. If there is a way to save your resources, she will. She is straight-forward and gets the job done. I would highly recommend her.

I visited this 'lawyer' on 6-12-2018. A friend recommended her based off knowing her on a personal level, not professional. I called this 'person' (a very loose term, I don't believe she has a soul) about a family/juvenile court matter I needed advice on. At the time it was an emergency matter with new developments happening on the day I called and in the 2 weeks that followed. She was unable to 'fit me in' for almost 2 weeks for an initial consultation that I had to pay $125.00 for. After waiting 2 weeks with high hopes and second guessing myself about whether I should I wait or go for a free consultation with another lawyer without a wait, I decided to keep my appointment. When I arrived at her office, located down an alley in a side door and up 3 flights of steps, I stepped into a room barely larger than a closet. But hey, at least she's next to Marathon and has a Main Street address. I suppose that's why she charges for her initial consultations, rent ain't cheap on Main Street, even for a closet. I filled out a short form, waited 20 minutes while she barked orders at her assistant about a typewriter, and then was finally shown back (ok around the corner) to a small woman sitting behind her large desk. She did not greet me or rise to shake my hand as is the common custom when meeting someone professionally. Instead, she said 'Did you bring any paperwork? No, of course, you didn't' Before I could answer or even sit down. I then proceeded to sit there while she asked me questions that before I could answer, she would ask another. She also spent an exorbitant amount of time explaining to me what the different hearings were, although had she let me speak I could have informed her I already knew what they were. She was all over the place with her questions, didn't seem knowledgeable about family law or the juvenile court system, and told me differing information then what I had gotten directly from the court itself. I had a list of questions I wanted to ask because I came for legal advice, and to decide if I would need further assistance, not for someone to talk at my face with filler for an hour and then demand a $4,000.00 retainer for anything more. After berating me, insinuating I was a liar, and interrupting me over and over again I finally stood up and walked out, absolutely defeated and angry that I had just wasted $125.00 for the worst initial consultation I probably have received from a 'lawyer' in my life. She offered for me to call her if I needed her assistance and wanted to move forward and all I could do was shake my head at the audacity she displayed after her unbelievable behavior. I can't imagine what a mess having her represent me in court would have been, and judging by how she treats people how deeply she is probably disliked by those working in the court system that has to deal with her, further hurting a likely good outcome for anyone represented by her. Steer clear of this lawyer, there are far better, cheaper and highly qualified lawyers you can visit that won't treat you as badly as I was treated today. I did not find any reviews on her or information ahead of time and I wish I had been warned to go with someone else, as I hope this review will help someone seeking her services in the future.
