I don't often do bad reviews but I'm not often treated this badly. Joanie did the absolute worst job I have ever seen defending someone, It was like she was working for the other side. After throwing her client under the bus she then went over the items with her client that she should have gone over before trial. She then was called off to active duty and left her client hanging when a court date was pending for child custody and it had to be postponed and because of that child custody was lost. After researching this online we have found other clients have had the same problems and posted similar reviews. Jared then took over for her and after months of talking he flaked out and didn't even show up for an important meeting, never even bothered to call her to say he couldn't make it. Client is at the office Saturday morning for the scheduled appointment after flying in from across the country and only getting two hours sleep waiting for the appointment with Jared and no one is even there. We left several phone messages trying to find out what happened with the meeting and never heard a thing. On Monday morning after still not receiving any calls back we call the office and talk to the secretary who knows nothing about it. She later calls back and says Jared had left a message with her that he was just too busy and referred us to another firm. So all the hours we spent talking to him, explaining what was going on and what had happened was a complete waste of our time. We asked for a refund back from Joanie and the firm and never heard back from anyone. Stay as far away from this firm as you can.. We have contemplated filing a malpractice lawsuit and filing complaints with the bar association.

This firm, especially Mr. Seth Johnson, is wonderful! Mr. Johnson treated us like family and worked diligently for our son's best interest. I highly recommend their thorough, professional and compassionate service.
