Needed to have a Pre-Nub read by a professional. Like most of you, i started with Google. I liked the reviews about the office and what was said about Dustin. I got a quick appointment that fit my time needs and it was handled by a very nice support team member. Dustin was very down to earth and straight forward with his thinking and comments. Made me feel good about what i was doing and the approach i was taking. I am very appreciative that things were kept on my level and my concerns were addressed. I hope not to have to use his services again, but i would and would recommend others do with out hesitation.

I only received a consultation with Dustin. I was very selective on who I chose for the consultations because I cant just go around paying for 10 consults. I chose Dustin for his reviews the stories were outstanding and made me think as a man I was as important as a female when it comes to child custody. When I spoke to him he seemed very distracted I had to repeat myself over and over and it wasnt making me feel good about choosing him to represent me. He had my court paperwork in his possession and still kept asking the same exact questions over and over it was more like he chose what to ask and say instead of me. Im glad I only ended up paying $300 instead of $5000 to someone who didnt take me serious. When it comes to a man trying to get custody its something serious and I felt Dustin didnt really care showed no concern and honestly didnt sound knowledgeable at all. The things he was saying didnt make any sense and I had already spoke with 3 lawyers before and 2 after and nothing he said makes absolutely no sense. I wouldnt recommend from a consultation experience I did not choose to hire Dustin

Dustin is a man of great character and an even better personality. Divorce and custody is something you never hope to go through but when it happens it's so important to get the right council the first time. Highly recommend his service for your legal needs.

Because of Dustin my daughter was able to get full custody of her girls. We finally found Dustin after using two lawyers before him who didn't care to even take a interest in my daughters problem they just wanted to take our money. Dustin took the time to listen and care about her getting full custody of her girls. And told my daughter to not give up because he would help her to the end. As an attorney in Western North Carolina, I constantly refer cases to Mr. McCrary and the results have constantly been outstanding. His work ethic, legal knowledge, and ethics are second to none.

I had my daughter in December on the 20th of 2017 and I was living with their father at that time (after I had been gone when our second child was born for about a year and a half, during which that time I offered him to come and see the boys whenever he wanted and just requested if he was high or drunk that he not drive with them, but he only ever asked to do things with me and ask that I have my mom watch our children) but trying to sum this up a little faster he called me one day saying he wanted to end his life I felt bad I answered he came to stay at my house I helped him through his suicidal thoughts and helped him detox from what he was on trying to fix him so he could be a better father to the boys. While he was in my house he didnt even want to be around them.... I moved back in with him only temporarily to help him get his life back on track and I ended up going into labor early so I didnt have time to move me and my boys back out, he refused to drive me to the hospital when I was in labor because 5am was to early for him to get up and my water had already broke and my daughter had trisomy 18 so it was a high risk pregnancy and I had to call my mom and get to the closest hospital I could. I didnt have time to make it to the one I was set up to give birth at that could handle babies that needed more intenseive care than the local hospital I gave birth at and I didnt have time to pack the kids up in labor and hold a towel between my legs to get in my moms car and get to the hospital so thats the only reason he was alone with the children in the 1st place because I went into labor and he refused to take me to the hospital I had no choice but to leave them thinking Id be able to come back and get them. He accused me of cheating while I was giving birth for not answering my phone while I was in labor (I had no epidural and no paid meds my phone was the least of my concerns and Id only moved back in to help him get better for the boys) so I told him I was leaving and coming to get the boys as soon as I saw my daughter was stable at the hospital they transferred her to. When I said Im coming back to get my boys and my stuff he changed the locks and refused me both. He told me I had to move back in with him and be with him if I wanted my kids and I was tired of the aduse and it wasnt good for the children to see the way he treated and talked to me so after 2 months of him not letting me have them I had to get a lawyer to get them back. I tried getting one in time for my boys to be able to attend their sisters funeral (that they never even got to meet because of my exs spitefulness) and I couldnt get a hearing in time so I had to explain to them they had a sister they never met and that she had passed and Ive taken them to see their sisters doctor and to see her grave but itll never be the same as them meeting her, which isnt this lawyers fault I paid for his help a few days before her funeral was set) but I told him all of this and much more and before our 1st court date I didnt get to meet him in person I only got a 15 to 20 minute phone call a day or two before our court date with him summarizing how court would go that day and that I wouldnt have much time at all to talk to the judge and on the actual court day he said my best bet would be to set something up with his lawyer to where we agreeded on something and just had a judge make it official. I didnt get a say in anything other than that we do drop offs at the police station, hes violated the order many times since and this lawyer wanted more money to go any further and I didnt have it. I didnt feel this concern for me or my childrens safety or wellbeing Ive seen in other comments. I now have a new lawyer and have to go back to court with him a year and a half later and had no clue our temporary order was technically set to permanent after a year, he never mentioned that. Also I answered my interrogatories (not sure if that how you spell that) by myself.

I got a speeding ticket right around Thanksgiving, but finding Dustin by reading his other reviews made me feel confident that he'd be able to handle it. I was able to relax and enjoy the holiday! When we connected the following Monday, he exceeded my expectations. He's so prompt, thoughtful, and personable answering all of my questions.
