I knew Lowell from a past meeting that was very brief. My wife filed for divorce and I interviewed 4 attorneys and Lowell was my 5th. Before I met with Lowell, I had pretty much made my mind up on attorney 3. My first meeting with Lowell was not rushed and I truly enjoyed speaking with him. He is very relaxed and does not hide behind legalese. I am sure my divorce was one of the easier ones for his firm to handle. But what I liked about working with him, his assistant Alda and their receptionist Amber was their availability via phone and email. I needed an unexpected meeting with Lowell part way through and I had an appointment within 2 or 3 days and again it was not rushed. I think Lowell and his team have perfected the small firm concept. I agree with Chrystal Hunter's comment about that attorney. He dose not return certain people phone calls. He leads you on to make it seem like he is interested in your case.When you email him your documents he doesn't follow up with you regarding them. I recently called him and he stated once he reviewed my documents he would follow up with me to let me know if I have a case. He never did. He is another typically lying attorney in Michigan.

THis has been a nightmare. I was falsely convicted of reckless driving in the Clarkston kangaroo court and lost my license. Lowell has been my only hope and assurance of ever getting a drivers license back . He even stuck by me when I'd had more than I could take and took it out on him. For this, i publicly apologize. I have a complex complicated case and no possibility of successfully getting through the hearing process, which of all the 50 states, has been described as the worst and most unfair. The only thing in years, that they did not do, was to find out if I could actually drive. It's a money grab, and essentially a sobriety program designed to make as many people rich as possible. At your and my expense. I highly recommend this team. If you are tired of getting screwed by the system, give Lowell a call, he can help. Above and beyond all expectations here. I gave up and he didnt. He wouldnt let me quit. At last the license was restored. The state never once tried to determine whether or not I could actually drive safely, this was just a combination money grab/drug and alcohol program designed to cost the driver as much money as possible whilst giving it to the counselors, testing businesses, lawyers, even the gasoline companies. We got a victory, and without the expertise of this law firm, it would have been impossible. Driving isnt a privilege, its a right, its a human right. The law fails to recognize that fact, but it is. One cannot live a normal life without driving. A person has the right to move about the surface of the planet like any other person. You are naturally able to use modern inventions like cars and trucks like everyone else. More so, if you build your own vehicle. The roads belong to the people who merely pay the government to maintain them for our use.

Similar to Johnny Victor, I met with Lowell and got stuck with James who was consistently at least an hour late, unresponsive to emails, and I think I would have been better off representing myself. James left the firm immediately after my case in April. When questioned about my bill suck as charging $30 for an email asking ME if there was an update, as well as unnecessary paperwork, my email never received a response.Once I finally terminated services, Lowell stated he was unaware of everything even though he had been Ccd On all communications. He promised to call me to discuss 3 times and initially wouldnt release my file. Finally he released my file after I mentioned his law firm, was involved in less than honest billing practices. He then attempted to defend James (Im sure only to protect his own butt). James was totally unprepared and didnt even calculate my confinement cost or fight on my behalf. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Find someone else to represent you if you want someone that will actually respond to you AND the other parties attorney. He repeatedly ignored my exs attorneys emails and said he received no email.Just a horrible experience, Steer clear
