Please look elsewhere unless you are desperate. We attempted to use Cordell Funk as our adoption attorney, and it was a terrible experience. Weeks between returned calls, needed to amend the document at least 6 times due to errors, and the secretary is incompetent (doesn't return calls, doesn't share information with attorney). Did I mention he didn't show up the day of our adoption? It wasn't in his calendar. We were told by the bailiff in court that he had an emergency. We arrived at the office about 45 minutes later and he was there in street clothes - unapologetic. We ended up spending more to go elsewhere. Save your money, time and sanity.

My divorce was handled by attorney Funk and that went pretty well, although there was no resistance from my ex. We went back for support a year or so later and that was not handled the best in my opinion. The biggest issue I had was lack of communication. All of this was new to me and very confusing. I relied on him to help me understand and that didnt happen. I ended up having another attorney handle the case after a year of making no progress. We had to start over because all the work we had previously done was thrown out because of improper improper notification. The other issue I had was with billing. I just received my final bill that I had requested over a year ago for services going back to early 2017. I got the sense these were good attorneys, butI don't know where the communication break down happened.

I would never recommend Dave Wendlinger. Worst layer (if you want to call him that) EVER. He did absolutly nothing to help me. Save your money because you will be dissapointed. He didn't file the paperwork I filled out MYSELF, for modifying child support. He never returned my email. Dave also didnt tell me about my court date. I had to call myself. He didnt even make an appointment to talk about the issues he was going to discuss in court. He was going to 'wing it'. He even told me, in my 'free' consultation, which he charged me for, he doesn't have to worry about the out come, from what happens in court. Dave Wendlinger is the reason people shouldnt have to pay $225 an hour for a lawyer. If you are looking for a really good lawyer, try Reva Hill or Frank Kopracina. Those were two lawyers I had in the past, that really helped me. Frank Kopracina got me custody of my son and Reva Hill really helped me out when I went through a horrible divorce. The absolute best lawyer I ever had was Teresa Hollensworth. She no longer does family law though.
