It is an odd thing to leave a great review for a Divorce Mediator, but Lisa Wiemken warrants no less. To me, the fact that my marriage was coming to an end came as a horrible surprise, and I was totally unprepared for the barrage of things that need to be taken care of in order to unwind a long standing marriage. While the process has been painful, I can honestly say that I am overjoyed to have discovered the mediation process, which saves a great deal of money and acrimony, and to have found North Shore Divorce Mediation to guide my ex and I through the process. Even though Lisa was quite friendly, we did not have a good experience with her unfortunately.She was disorganized, got appointment dates wrong and was generally not that helpful and seemed to lack knowledge in a few areas. She did ultimately provide us with a MOU, but it was a pretty messy process.Thankfully my ex and I are on good terms, I can't imagine how it would work out if that were not the case.She can certainly get the job done and was courteous (and affordable), but I am pretty sure that there are better attorneys out there.
