Patrick was remarkable. His knowledge of the intricacies of divorce law in Illinois was nothing short of amazing. But more than that he understood when to push and when not to push, what was reasonable and what would just annoy the judge, and how to frame the negotiation at the end to focus on what was important. Each and every piece of advice was right on target - even if I didn't always agree with him at the time. He was exceptionally responsive - on one particularly stressful Saturday morning I reached out to him expecting a response on Monday. I heard back in an hour. This was especially important to me because the petition was filed in IL but I live somewhere else - so all of our interactions were remote.I would use Patrick's services again in a heartbeat.

Patrick is one of the most talented lawyers I have had the pleasure to work with. He would counsel me on the legal, but more importantly, what to expect - reactions, pain, timeline and whenever I need to email or chat, he was available. The settlement I received was better than I could have expected - both financially and being fair to my ex-wife - so I was able to look at my future while being able to face myself in the mirror, knowing I had been guided to the best, given the circumstances, outcome. I cannot recommend Patrick more strongly to anyone who is thinking about making a necessary life change, or on the other side of having that choice brought forward unsolicited.

Patrick helped me deal with an international parenting case. The situation was quite complicated dealing with European vs American laws. It was a pretty black and white situation legally, but the US judge wasn't seeing it that way. Patrick started with the same claim from the very beginning, knew the laws better than the 3 judges we had, and in the end, his very first petition that was written for me was essentially what was granted. It unfortunately took us 1.5 years to get a ruling, but that was beyond Patrick's control. He is communicative, values confidentiality, uses modern technology and is prompt with delivering results. I never waited more than 24 hours for anything to post to my online file. I never met Patrick in person; we did everything via phone and email and I seriously cannot recommend someone else. I was highly satisfied with his services and the team that works alongside him to make everything happen. The opposing counsel was really some 'eyebrow raising' things and Patrick really seemed unphased by the games and just continued to represent me in the best light and himself as well. I think in the end this really helped my case and I also got the verdict I wanted.
