I moved to Decatur two years ago from Florida and I knew I needed to have a new will and other legal documents prepared for me now that I lived in Georgia. Jennifer Gibbs was recommended to me and I made an appointment to see her. The day of the appointment I was greeted by Jennifer with a polite hello, a confident look directly into my eyes and a firm handshake...I was hooked at that point! I knew I had made the right choice and I was not disappointed. Jennifer took her time as we reviewed my new life, what I needed her to do and also answered all of my questions...and I asked many! She was very thorough and professional...I would recommend Jennifer to anyone who may be in need of legal documents such as a will, power of attorney health care directive, estate planning, etc. or other legal documents...you will not be disappointed!

I am very satisfied with the service I recieved from Gibbs Law Firm. I retained Jennifer for a family law court case that I had been dealing with for several years. I hired Jennifer J. Gibbs to help me with my divorce at the beginning of 2018.I will say, I had an attorney who I had initially retained to help me with this divorce. He came highly recommended from a friend and that was why I hired him. My divorce situation did not seem like it was that complicated, but with this attorney, the situation immediately seemed to become very difficult and costly, largely in my opinion, due to my attorney & opposing counsel wanting to prolong a simple settlement. I knew after several months of this, that I could not go any further with this attorney.At this point, I simply went to the internet to try a find a replacement. I looked at numerous websites for attorneys in my area and immediately was drawn to the sincerity & compassion of Jennifer Gibbs statement on her site.I contacted her basically without references from friends or researching her any further. She immediately responded, even though it was during a major holiday, and we quickly met to discuss my situation further. She immediately got herself up to speed with everything pertinent to my case and I could not have been more impressed with her.In the confines of writing this online review, I really cannot sincerely relate what a relief it was to find & retain her, and rid myself of my previous legal representation. Divorce is rarely pleasant, even under the best circumstances. Carolyn Torres-Mabe represented me in my recent divorce and I found her to be not only exceptionally knowledgeable, but highly compassionate as well. She kept me well-informed about the status of my case, next steps, and what I should expect every step of the way. She listened carefully to my concerns, synthesized those with the constraints of the law and likely actions by the other side to develop the best possible strategy - and outcome. She took a very human view of my case, which helped validate her as the best choice to represent me. I would recommend Carolyn without reservation.

I cannot recommend this law firm. Jen and Carolyn were friends with opposing counsel in my case and I was not happy with the results. I burned through nearly $4000 and they never even responded to the divorce filing. No discovery and no offer of settlement was even made. They gave opposing counsel exactly what they wanted and presented me with the hard copy of the consent agreement the evening before the hearing. I almost missed the deadline to respond with the new firm since there was so little time left. I have received legal advise from two other law firms that the consent agreement Jen and Carolyn had me sign was unnecessarily one sided, resulted in me not having visitation with my child for a year, and is very hard to undue once the damage has been done.

I called this company and they gave me some great guidance. I would recommend this company to anyone.
