Thanks to Dee my daughter is back home where she belongs. She stood beside us thru it all. Her and her amazing staff was so helpful and compassionate about our case because they believe in what shes fighting for when it comes to family law. Buyers BEWARE. Divorce stinks but attorneys can make it better or worse. Do not ever sign a contract when you are still emotionally upset. Yes I signed the contract and paid the $4000 retainer fees upfront. No I didnt pay close attention to the I keep your retainer regardless clause. Dee did 3 things. 1) file my reply 2) type my Discovery 3) file our agreement. My ex and I basically resolved our issues and Dee wasnt involved in any of that. We only spoke twice before finally decree. No children No mediation, No court $4000 is a little steep for a couple of signatures and some typing. But..ITS NEVER PERSONAL UNTIL ITS YOU!!!!!! READ AND TAKE HOME BEFORE YOU SIGN!!!!

Diane was AMAZING!! She took our case at the last minute (after another attorney took our money and ran) and did wonderful in court. She was straight up, honest and worth every dollar we spent. Would definitely recommend her for any family law case. She genuinely cared about the well being of the child involved.

My name is Marc crofoot and I hired Diane (Dee) to represent my daughter and I in a custody dispute. Never married, very involved father, I had full custody the first day in court! As you can imagine it was an uphill battle. Dee kept the facts accurate and the records organized and well presented to the courts. It's the little things that count like not missing opposing counsel signatures and reminding opposing counsel of agreements and arrangements. I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. There were times when things got tough and diane had to fight. She will! She won every motion in my case. Honestly I was shocked. I have known Diane for almost a year. I am the wife of one of her clients. My husband and I have dealt with the legal field for a few years and had our fair share of attorneys. Last summer we sat down with our last attorney getting some recommendations on who to go to next. After writing down a list of names- the attorney he kept referring back to as the 'bulldog' was none other than Diane sternlieb. Our choice didn't stop there, we did tons of research, asked around (to people also known for needing attorneys) and several others spoke very highly of Diane. So we decided to go with someone local, called her office to set up a consultation, and came in for her first available. Right off the bat, I was blown away with how her assistants handled us. I didn't feel like I 'inconvenienced' them, which other attorneys and their assistants have made me feel. We came in, retained her on the spot, and immediately knew she was not only a blessing but going to be very special in our life. Over the course of his case, I've gotten to know Diane more, and realized she is as honest as I could ever imagine. She takes our case (as I assume she does EVERY other case) very personal. Anytime something new happens, I can almost guarantee that not only my husband will get an email, but I do as well. She has done more for us in less time than the other attorneys did total. Diane is very unprofessional, very rude and a heartless individual. She took my words twisted and turned them, and was out right disrespectful. Her lies are just short of perjury, very untrustworthy. I used her for my divorce a few years back and she was the worst.. Rude...hateful and drug it out demanding more $...do not use her!!! The Worst!

Diane was an answer to our prayers. Due to substance abuse, my husband and I placed our children into the temporary custody of my mother. We got clean, did everything asked of us by DFCS and when we went to the courts to try and get our children back, we were denied custody because to our horror, the temporary custody hired a local Carrollton lawyer to fight us from getting our children back. We felt as if we hit a brick wall every turn we made. After mediation, the temporary guardian still refused to work with us. Because of substance abuse, my husband and I felt that we were immediately judged by everyone. We had even had a consultation with a Carrollton lawyer before hiring Dee and because of the details of our situation, he pretty much told us we were going to be fighting a really hard battle and that 'only 3% of parents ever get their children back after substance abuse.' Dee, on the other hand, heard our story and listened to us. She made our case very personal to her and it felt so good to finally have someone on our side. She and her assistant, Jesse, fought very hard for us and assured us from day one that we would get our children back.....and she made it happen! Dee became more than just my lawyer, she became a friend. I not once felt like I was 'just another client'. I will forever be in debt to her for helping us get our family back together.
