I have had a few dealings with attorneys that were very unfavorable and overly expensive. In the past I haven't been able to trust the attorneys I've dealt with for divorce or real estate dealings etc. For the first time I completely trust my attorney, Dustin Nemati has gone above and beyond and was never condescending or unprofessional. He is very knowledgeable and down to earth. I highly recommend his counsel. He is the only attorney I have ever recommended.

The thought of hiring an attorney to resolve a parental agreement modification terrified me. I was struggling to find a legal firm to represent me in this time sensitive matter. I found the Owenby Law firm on an internet search and was impressed by the positive reviews and thought that this was the kind of firm I wanted representing me in my family legal matter. I was very skeptical on submitting the online contact form, and was concerned on not hearing back from them. What I can say is that I was impressed with how quickly Owenby Law reached out to me (same day response!), listened to my legal needs, and quickly identified Joshua Kelne to represent me in my legal matter. Do not spend your money with this law firm, they only take your money, I nearly spend $3,000 they dont do anything with your case but charge you over $300 hundred dollars to speak with you on the phone for 10-15 mins about your case and never seem to do anything to help your case. They care about the money more than you as a client. I was referred to them, but I wish I never wouldve hired them!!! This is so disappointing !!!!

Disappointed. Needed spousal social security, which meant a Modification of Final Decree. Made me think it couldn't be done unless originally setup in Final Decree. Would have been easier if she'd just said, 'We don't handle that kind of Family Law,' than to leave me with no hope. Was not thinking of this at time of divorce, as I had small children and had to go to work to pay for present 'No Fault' divorce laws, which means no grounds are needed. There were other financial issues at that time. More importantly, you forget that things could change upon age of retirement where you may need it. The law states you have to have been married at least 10 yrs to be eligible for it. We were together 13 yrs. By law, I was entitled to it. My SSI alone is not enough to live on in senior yrs. At that time, most all the financial burdens, including the divorce, were mine. With no family support system, it took 1.5 yrs to get and I never remarried. Strangely, It would not take anything from what he currently gets. It only offers more if he predeceases me.

I had one of those divorces that lasted 2 years. Debbie Potter worked with me from start to finish step bye step and we made the best out of bad situation. The firm is concerned more about money and profit than the client. They asked for all my financials (bank statements, tax returns, credit card statements, etc) when FACTS are the court DOES NOT need any of this information for the matter that they were handling. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!!
