Tom Gill and his office staff are amazing ! They have/are helping me with three separate matters. The staff is always helpful in answering questions or getting messages to Tom in a very timely manner. They are very friendly and compassionate. Im the type to stress over everything and Tom is quick to reassure me that hes got my back. Hes has a great sense of humor about it with me which is also reassuring because I feel like he has really taken the time to get to know me, my family, and our case(s). Hes extremely honest and professional, just a couple of his many great qualities as a great attorney. Tom has worked with me for over 10 years. I have also worked with two large firms that advertise during that time, but always returned to Tom.2 years after my divorce in which I was represented by Tom, my income decreased significantly. I hired a large firm who told me that I could have my alimony changed, then they changed lawyers on me and the new lawyer told me I couldn't. I ended up unrepresented in court and the judge took everything I had left - my retirement funds - and allowed me to keep less than half of my income.My GF ran into Tom and told him what was going on with me. Tom remembered my case - from 5 years ago at that point! He recalled wording in the divorce decree that allowed the alimony to be changed. We filed for alimony reduction and for custody of my son. We mediated my alimony from $5000 to $2200 AND I got custody of my son.I have found Tom's billing practices to be more than fair. The large firms find some way to 'review your case' and bill your credit card every month. With these firms the main lawyer advertises greatness, bills for greatness, and you get a lawyer just out of law school.Tom knows the judges and what to expect from them. He knows the local lawyers. I would never use another lawyer for a family law issue.TOM REMEMBERED DETAILS OF MY CASE AFTER 5 YEARS THAT THE LARGE FIRM 'EMPLOYEE?' COULD NOT UNDERSTAND OR RESOLVE WITH THE CASE SITTING IN FRONT OF HER!I had given up. Tom saved me by remembering details of my case 5 years after I was divorced. He is outstanding.

Tom and his team successfully represented me in a contested, but quickly-resolved divorce. Prior to selecting Tom, I talked to a few attorneys. I picked him because, from the very first call, he seemed to care and offer solid advice that was beneficial no matter which attorney I selected. He was also frequently and consistently well reviewed by clients and peers alike.Also, his legal experience, knowledge and demeanor made me feel comfortable; which is important in negotiating and working with opposing counsel.He also has a capable staff which benefits the client in managing costs. This one is sharp. I got good news and bad about my legal issue. In one shot. And that was refreshing, even if it involved dunking my, admittedly unrealistic, expectations of what the system should do into a vat of ice cold reality. But he toweled everything off by giving me more attainable alternates and telling me how to go about getting the best possible outcomes. I like this guy. In their industry time is money, and Ive paid a lot just to be sitting in a seat, hearing at the last minute, from an attorney, that what I had been asking for all along was never attainable. This guy doesnt do that. He helped me with what was in his jurisdiction and told me how to get help for anything that wasnt.

Divorce is not easy, emotions take over at times and you can make many mistakes by not thinking rationally. Mr. Gill helped me get out of my emotions to think straight and make good choices. In most businesses you want to talk to the boss because you feel they are the only person that can help you, not the case with Mr. Gill's office from Dayna & Jana staying on top of everything also always getting back to me and always extremely helpful, Lisa the office manager playing multiple roles and always being there. Tom Gill is crooked! He took $500.00 from me and did absolutely no legal work in return. I was considering filing for divorce and then later decided not to utilize his services. He refused to reimburse my deposit. I have been a paralegal for seven years so I am fully aware of how a lawyer should practice. He does not follow the Florida Bar Rules and should be cited for taking money from people when no legal work was performed. Please accept this advice and select an attorney who is fair and adheres to the rules.Tom, in reply to your response. Your are a vile human being. Where is the bill for the services you performed? You could never produce one. I was a single mother and you had no problem taking money when no services were performed. The highly regarded attorneys I consulted with on this matter advised me to file a small claims suit against you. You are the one that will have to answer to your disgusting acts.
