He does not pay vendors. Says he will pay you, and then doesn't return calls or pay his invoice. After speaking with many colleagues, it appears he needs the money he collects from his clients to pay his vendors so he just doesn't pay them.

Paid for a simple divorce. Absolutely no follow through. Tried to leave me with a six figure debt and give everything to my spouse neglecting any community property laws. 1 1/2 years later still has not completed the divorce had to hire another lawyer that was capable of fixing his mess. If your looking for a lawyer that will do nothing he is perfect for you if your looking for a lawyer that serves the best interest of the other party he is perfect for you. If your looking for a lawyer that will serve you run away very very far away.

Extremely disappointed with his 'services'. He does not turn in paperwork on time. Sometimes he won't get back to you for weeks at a time, through e-mail or phone. His 'affordable' services are not affordable at all. And he does not answer your requests or communicate clearly when he does get back to you. I would NOT reccomend him at all.

Worst attorney ever!!! Save your money, go to a competent attorney that's going to actually fight for you, this guy seemed like he was more fighting for my wife than me, he won't do nothing for you, I had to spend more money so that I can hire a different attorney, and then he refused to send any paperwork over to my new attorney because he claimed that I still owed him $400, he didn't do crap for me I don't owe him nothing, I am upset that I gave him the money that I gave him. We set in front of the judge and he was lost, didn't turn in the witness report, my wife who is the deposing person commented saying that my attorney really sucks, and I had to agree with her, this guy won't do nothing for you, he's a joke, He will not answer his phone when you call him, and when he finally does answer his phone, he charges you $200 just to talk to him, and doesn't even answer any of your questions, be smart and go somewhere else, listen to all the negative reviews about him those are the true reviews, any positive reviews was probably written by his family members, because there is nothing good about this attorney. If there was a way to do five negative stars I would've done that, If I would've kept this attorney, I would probably have lost everything, that's why I had to get a better more competent attorney, this is your life at stake, your child's life at steak, do not spend a dime on this attorney, he does not care about you or what you're going through, my wife agreed to 50-50 custody, he refused to show me because he wanted to go to trial to get more money, that is just one of the many reasons not to take this attorney, and he will not defend you at all, you have been warned.

Run. He doesn't return calls, he decided not to have my wife served because he 'didn't think I wanted to' and I waited several weeks and had to call him to find out. He then said it would happen that week and it still did not. He is a liar and a con-man. He also still has not issued me a refund. Find a good lawyer, this one may have cost me much more than his fees, he may have cost me my rights to my kids.

I DONT RECOMMEND RICHARD McCLUSKEY!! My brother and I paid $2,000 to Richard McCluskey to amend child support judgement. He kept the money and didnt do the modification. We repeatedly requested mediation appointments, he told us he would set them up, then didnt. We asked to see the judge, he made up excuses and said it was necessary. We asked for refund last January, havent received a penny. He rarely answered emails and calls from us. It was VERY frustrating and disappointing when a guardian of the court treats their clients so unprofessional. We made a call to the Bar Association, they were not much help. They are also lawyers covering for lawyers. This system is broke, it seems to be about getting your money not justice. Now we have to hire another attorney to go after this one, wish us luck! And good luck to you in finding an honest lawyer.

This attorney is not worth your money!!! Please save your money for someone who knows what they are doing..if you should use his services anyway i suggest you pay half up until you feel he has done for you!!! This man will not return your phone calls much less fight for your rights!!richard recently started doing family law an is not very good at it.i couldnt have been more dissapointed thanks to googles comments and stars

Be very careful I retained this lawyer last year we went to one court date and my case was dismissed he told me he would send me a final bill with my remaining balance of the retainer till this day he hasn't he told me he mailed it I never received it the he stopped answering my phone calls and emails.
