I was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Kelly McPherson took time to understand my issues and thoughtfully and thoroughly planned for my trial. At trial, she was responsive to the witnesses and testimony and was able to adjust her approach to make sure that the judge heard us. Shes a natural in the courtroom.

Unfortunately, I have to give at least one star to even leave a review, but in all honesty, I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone! Run! Stay away! By the time your case is over, Kelly will be working for your ex while you fit the bill! We probably spent double on this case because the psycho ex refused to participate or cooperate in any way! Should have been a slam dunk of a case, right?! Nah, not when you have Kelly working for your ex! She couldn't even get us awarded reimbursement for all the extra fees we paid, and even charged us $400 MORE at the end of the case because the psycho didn't cooperate yet again!! She advised us poorly on what to do during the case, which is why I feel that we had a less than desirable outcome. She spoke often to the psycho and at one point advised her NOT to provide her income information because she would have to pay more child support. How nice of her! I really feel like we spent over $15,000 just to bend over and take it. I wouldn't mind all the money spent, or even losing the case, had I truly felt that at the end, she was sincerely doing what was best for us. But it absolutely did not appear that way. Good luck to you if you decide to go this route. You're gonna need it.

Kelly is an amazing lawyer, my wife and I got full custody of my stepson, she really fought for him at the trial. Highly recommend!

Lost a case where my ex moved to another city with my two daughters without any court approval. She enrolled them in a third school without my consent. I submitted emails and text messages months prior to the trial but none were used for exhibits. Now my daughters are going to a garbage school hours away and living with my ex wife's felon boyfriend who was previously arrested for murder and selling narcotics. To be fair, the judge was completely biased for the 'mom' in the case. I'm not sure why that is the case given all of the history we provided the lawyer.

My divorce is complex, and I have two children. I didnt know what to do or where to go. Fortunately, Knies, Holland & McPhersons have been so helpful. And their office is so nice! Everyone there is so friendly and wants the best for me. They make it easier to cope through this frustrating time by working ever so diligently. They do the hard work! That helps alleviate some stress, so I can focus on my children, and live in the present. I do not know where Id be without them. Thank You So Much!

We were referred to Kelly by a friend to assist with our custody agreement for an upcoming military move by a close friend. These people use Instacart shopping and delivery service for office supplies. They seem so nice and are all smiles when the order is dropped off. After you leave they remove the tip they initially left. How pathetic!

Being out of state, it was very difficult for me to do what was needed for a child custody matter that had been ongoing for two years. Jenni Helland has been my attorney for the last year, and will most likely be on retainer for the foreseeable future. She cares about her clients, and she cares about the kids in the case, and has the professional ability to follow through. There's not much more you could ask for in a lawyer.

Due to mis-information from a mediator, we found ourselves needing an attorney quickly to help facilitate a legal name change for one of my children. Knies, Helland, and McPherson were recommended to us by a very well-respected attorney in town. Ezra Hurwitz took our case and was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The office staff was respectful and communicated well. Each time I was there, they made me feel comfortable and cared for. Ezra does his homework and tries hard to find a solution that will lessen the negativity on a young person's life. He is smart and compassionate. I appreciated how he guided me step-by-step as to what would happen and prepared me well for court. Ezra will research what he does not know. If you need an advocate involving LGBTQ matters, I recommend Ezra Hurwitz who, I believe, will treat you with respect and compassion.

What an amazingly talented group of staff and attorneys! It's hard to believe they only opened the doors a few months ago. The firm is already running smoothly and professionally like they've been serving the community for years!I had the privilege to work with the entire team while planning their Open House. During the Open House I overheard many conversations between seasoned attorneys and professionals who were thoroughly impressed with the firm itself and the work they are doing. They provide the kind of personal attention and unique background that you won't find at larger firms. Knies, Helland & McPherson is the group you need. I've been in custody issues for years. After one meeting with Kelly, she knew what I wanted and had a plan. Kelly and her team kept me up to date on everything, and I was able to deal with the rest of my life knowing she had it under control. We walked out of mediation with me getting what I was asking for. I've already recommended Kelly and her team to others. This is the group you want in your corner especially if your Military or Prior Service.

Quickly informed me she did not have jurisdiction over my case as too not waste my time. If I ever need a lawyer in her area. I would contact her again.

They cancelled our appointment AFTER we paid prior to our scheduled time, are trying to fall back on informarion supposedly contained in some mystery invoice they claim to have sent out via email that neither myself nor my wife has received (in either inbox or spam file), cannot provide a date and time they sent it out on, rescheduled the consult and told my wife they would call her on the day of the consult as we live out of state (which i even had her double check that because that sounded fishy to begin with) and then turn around say 'oh you were supposed to call'. I do not recommend these people at all. I hope, for their client's sake, their moral and ethical practice of law surpasses their business ethics but I do not know. We still have not received our consult as the last I heard from their office manager about a refund was that she would 'discuss it with the attorney and let me know'.Update:The $150 consult fee has been refunded.

Called this office originally at the referral of a friend whose Ex had been represented by Jennifer Hellund. His advice to me was she is who you want!! That in and of itself spoke volumes to me. Spoke with their office manager Ruth who is an absolute pleasure and capable of handling people who are beyond stressed and super emotional. She set me up with the soonest available appointment with Jennifer. Unfortunately circumstances forced my hand and suddenly I had a court date in 10 days, the day before my initial interview!!! Professional, experienced, and ethical law firm.

I would not recommend this firm and more specifically Jennifer Knies. She was our CFI and it was the most awful experience we've ever had. She was not interested in facts or finding the truth. She did not give our family a chance, she only catered to the other party who paid for her services and who had a lawyer. Ms. Knies lied in her official report, made huge, peraonal assumptions about our family and it devastated us. She was not fair or unbiased as she was supposed to be. I do not trust this law firm, and would never encourage anyone to use them. Extremely unprofessional and her poor judgement had lasting effects on our kids and our family.
