I came to this law firm completely broken! My worst nightmare had been realized; my children were taken. Mr. Davis has been the calm ,in what can be best described as a tsunami of a situation. Mr. Davis' ability to listen and explain the law to a very confused, emotional mother in turmoil is uncanny. When at my lowest point ,knowing I was in the right and all was going wrong, the Law Firm Of Vincent W Davis was there! I tryed calling this place to get details on how was they going to handle my case in a problem i was dealing with , didn't really get no detail but they told me for $8700 that they would file paperwork and go to court dates with me , i was thinking that they would atleast try to do a emergency hearing or like they stated on there video,to try to get your kids to you within days , i feel $8700 just to go to my court dates is not worth it.

All attorneys are NOT the same. Having been involved in 2 big trials in the last 2 years, I now understand what my attorney, Vince Davis has told me and that is that all attorneys have a license to practice law. But what differentiates trial lawyers is training and experience.I watched Vince win the first trial and I picked up on certain elements of his training in that trial but I really didnt appreciate that training and experience as I felt, yeah, hes good at what he does but we shouldve won anyway and we did!In this second trial, a much bigger case and probably the most important case of my life, I listened to Vince in the court room, watched him implement a strategy and watched him predict exactly what the jury was going to do. It was amazing! At one point, I seriously felt the opposing attorney was winning but Vince reassured me that everything would be alright as I was almost gasping for air. Vince skillfully questioned each witness with calm and grace. It was truly a skill that hes developed and he damn good at it!As Vince stood in front of the jury giving his closing, he said he connected with the jurors as he has been taught by one of his mentors, Gerry Spence and we won!My advice is dont go to trial with a lawyer that doesnt at least have 20 years of trial experience AND a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College with the Trojan Horse Method of Trial Lawyers training.Vince tells me all the time, all attorneys know the law, but not all attorneys have the formal Training and Experience.

It is already unfortunate that you have to go through such pain but not to have experience lawyers on your side is worse. Yes the price is high and the stress on how to pay is great but you don't want to battle the county with a court appointed lawyer!! I was privileged to have Denise Adigun defend me on getting my daughter back. My 11 year old daughter made up some stories to me about her dad (stepfather) for me to kick him out and her & I to stay with the house as I was planning on leaving him and moving out. I fell for it and confronted him and kicked my husband out, then she admitted she made it up because she didn't want to move away from her school and friends. No big deal right?, wrong! she hinted to an old time friend that she seen as an aunt to her about the things she made up. Well that friend didn't get the last part that she had made it up and called CPS to have her dad (stepfather) arrested. All this seems like it would be an easy case and my daughter would be returned right away if not never taken over a misunderstanding, right? WRONG again! They removed my daughter, added to the story to even get a warrant to have her removed in the first place. They said I was a drug addict, I knew of the abuse and allowed it and that I myself belittled my daughter. The court made me take parenting classes and take counseling all while my daughter was placed in a foster home. My court appointed lawyer seemed more lost every time I seen him (15 minutes at court) than I did. I was terrified, my husband left, I lost my home and my car but most of all I lost my job from the distress I was going through. I was given 2 hour 'supervised' visits once a week. 8 months later will be when I finally get my baby home. I lost everything because someone decided to make that phone call to CPS. CPS is meant to keep families apart and if you are in a situation that they are involved - DO NOT HESITATE!, have the Law offices of Vincent Davis on your side and defend you. You will feel as if a huge load is lifted from your back. I am not saying they will immediately solve your problems but they are well equipped to do so. Its sad to see the families at court that have no means but to have a court appointed lawyer and the sadness I see in their face as they walk out empty handed so defeated. Please have proper representation when you face the battle at court with the Law offices of Vincent Davis. But first you pray to God that He leads the way as you will need Gods strength to face CPS...

I was referred to Mr. Davis, through an old friend. She told me, this attorney saved her children from adoption. I was not facing the same dilemma, however I trusted her recommendation, based on the quality of my friendship, with her. As soon as I spoke with Mr. Davis about my case and my personal situation, he invited me in to speak in person. We hashed out the retainer and immediately I felt at ease, that I could continue working, with trust that he would take care of the details, I couldn't. The accusations I was facing were conjured from pure fraud. I don't know how CPS/DCFS gets away with so me of the garbage that they do, but I will tell you this... Mr. Davis shut them down. I am in the beginning stages of my case with CPS. My life has been turned upside down including my husband who we share a four-year-old with but I have 3 older children from a previous marriage. I have Retained a law office of Vincent W Davis and associates and have a wonderful attorney named Denise who represents me and our case Manager Jacqueline and any phone call text message I have Mr. Davis immediately responds he is there for all of my questions concerns and even when I need to vent. This is very stressful moment in my life it is caught major trauma with my children and myself and even if I don't like the answer I have faith in my representation I have the relief of knowing that my attorney is going to represent me and is going to ensure that they win each and every case as that is what their goal is to represent their clients to the fullest.A little back story this is happening to Me because ofmy ex husband in retaliation for me filing for child support had all kinds of anonymous accusations made against me and my children who I have had full physical and legal custody of for their entire lives all of a sudden were taken from me and given to a horrible man who has an extensive criminal history and has told lies to my children about me. Something that should be a family law case and was in family law but he decided he didn't like it in what the decision was so he thought he'd get CPS involved and now my life has been turned upside down I am fighting for everything that I have done for my children it's as if I'm trying to be erased my memory erased. I want tell you the reason for the 2 stars was that the outcome and the cost. I believe Mr Davis is a fine lawyer especially in the area's that he specializes in his front man or case manager Burt Johnson is one of the most informed and sympathetic individuals you would ever want to meet as a matter of fact speaking with Mr Johnson was the reason I decided to hire the firm he was confident. friendly and knowledgeable about my problem. The retainer wasn't cheap but I figured in order to win I would have to pay a little more for what I felt at the time was the best. I didn't get Mr. Davis to represent me nor did I get Burt Johnson whom I would have happy if it were he representing me, instead I was given Stephanie Davis a very accomplished lawyer with a long list of credits, unfortunately I found her to be a bit cold and condescending and after paying what was to me a lot of money I ended up being forced out of my home and it was while out of my home that the firm asked for more money to continue, at that point i had to make a decision to cut my losses. I decided to let the firm go and move forward on my own and that's what I did and have been doing. Now in Mr Davis' defense I came to them a little late and should have retained them earlier and maybe I would have fared better I actually appreciate the way Mr Davis and Mr Johnson operate as well as there office all very professional and courteous,

My experience with Mr. Davis was great. I contacted Vince very shortly before my court hearing since I was not getting any advice from the court appointed attorneys. Vince (as he prefers to be called) came in and totally changed the dynamics of my case. Had it not been for Vince and his team of very experience lawyers, my case would have not been where it is now. Which is almost resolved. If you are thinking about getting a lawyer, don't think about it, DO IT, and get someone who truly specializes in your case, such as Vincent W. Davis. CPS will try and break you down, once they hear the name Vincent W. Davis, everything changes! Thanks again for all you did for my family and I!

Absolutely horrible. We ended up using a different attorney and the whole firmed was shocked by the declaration that this law firm did. Quote, I dont think an attorney actually wrote this unquote. They have a lot of hidden fees and only concerned about the work they need to get done on the time schedule they are on. THEY HAVE HIDDEN FEES! You have been warned!

Thank you God for leading me to Attorney Vince Davis. He is one of the good guys. I couldnt hire him due to financial reasons. But, I did meet with him, and communicated with him on several subsequent occasions, even while I was at court on the day of my CPS trial. To make things worse, my court appointed attorney was changed one day before the trial, and this new attorney had no witnesses or exhibits to give to the judge on the day of trial. And this new attorney, not knowing anything about my case, advised me to just give up and not have a trial. And just lose my children. I freaked and contacted Mr Davis again. I still couldnt afford to hire him. And he was in the middle of a jury trial, but he took to time to walk me through exactly what needed to be done at my trial. And followed his advise and I won! And my reunification services were NOT terminated. This would have not happened without the free help from Vince. I recommend to everyone with a CPS case, call this man. I hired Mr Davis to represent me in a cps case against my daughter. the social worker had a nasty attitude and she kept lying to me about the proceedings and the process so I decided it was best to get a lawyer. yes he is pricey yes the attorneys are busy but you get what you pay for. the cheap comes out expensive in the end. his prices are fair considering the amount of work and research they(the associates) do. they make you feel like family and not a bonus check. I liked Mr Davis so much I hired him again. he doesn't make false promises, he does what he says he's going to do. If he doesn't think the goal is attainable he won't lie to you and say it is just to get your money. I love this firm, everyone is like family.

Vincent Davis helped in my Juvenile Dependency case and believed in me from the very beginning. Now, way sooner than predicted, I am back in my home with my son and fiance and able to be a mother before I missed out on too much. Davis & Associates. I came under attack from social services and was the victim of false reporting and false allegations. But I keep good records and write everything down including conversations with social services employees (including times & dates) so I know what happened on a particular date, or what to do and what kind of Doctor to see if a problem arises. This was key to helping my attorneys fight for me!After being angry about false reporting by social services employees, and being emotionally and physically exhausted, from having to fight this crap, and total waste of tax-payer dollars, and putting in all the stressful work I had to do, I was relieved and pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism that Vincent Davis, Stephanie Davis, Daniel Sharpe and the other stellar staff provided me -- they just got it! He can explain complicated and seemingly chaotic laws, in a way so even normal people like me, can get an overview of the situation, and have a chance of making the right decisions. I hired the law office of Vincent W. Davis And Associates to assist me in my fight for my children, against DCFS. Vince and his office were professional and very helpful in my situation. I had an impossible time trying to untangle the web of lies told by DCFS. I finally realized parents are not equip to fight this evil alone. Get private counsel from day one. Your child/ children are to precious to take the risk.

We had an exceedingly negative experience with the Law Offices Of Vincent W Davis & Associates.My wife & I are former foster/adoptive parents. Last year, DCFS placed a very dangerous & mentally disturbed 13-year-old foster girl in our home. DCFS was aware that she was violent, psychotic & sexually aggressive, but lied in order to get the girl placed. Because of this, we were put in a position where the child repeatedly sexually assaulted my wife, tortured our cats (paralyzing one cat & injuring another), physically assaulted & VERY nearly murdered both of us, until she was finally removed via ambulance & taken to a psychiatric hospital after claiming to be possessed by demons she saw in a mirror. After she was removed, we filed a police report for sexual battery & assault. The day after the LAPD detective spoke to her, our foster daughter retaliated by filing an allegation against us, but community care licensing would not give us details.We retained the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates for $3600 to file a lawsuit against DCFS & paid a second retainer of $6000 to learn what the allegation was & defend us.Attorney Stephanie Davis of the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates was assigned to our case. We wrote up a 70-page long retelling of the abuse we suffered at the h&s of our foster daughter & DCFS, along with supporting documents, including demonic drawings & emails to social workers begging for emergency mental health services.Attorney Stephanie Davis ignored us & refused to respond to any attempts at communication for an entire month. After mentioning the breach of fiduciary duty to the receptionist at the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates, attorney Stephanie Davis finally called & admitted she thought my emails might have had a virus so she never opened them.After two months of almost no communication between the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates & community care licensing, the case was referred to LAPD, who then called us. Attorney Vincent W Davis instructed us to have the officer contact him directly.On May 29th, the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates called us & attorney Vincent Davis asked if he was representing us in the criminal case. We were shocked & his behavior was strangely guarded & cryptic. We initially said yes (assuming that they would first exhaust the retainers wed paid), but then he demanded a third $7500 retainer. Attorney Vincent Davis is aware that we both suffer from severe PTSD & anxiety from our ordeal. Calling us at night with a tone that we interpreted as panicked felt like a ploy to scare us into giving him more money. He claimed to have spoken to the police detective, however we later learned from the detective that this was not true & that she never once spoke to anyone from the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates.We requested that the other two retainers be exhausted before paying him more. Vincent threatened to tell the detective that we were unrepresented unless we gave him another $7,500. We became suspicious that our retainers were being kept while no work was being done. I sent the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates a concerned, yet polite email requesting a copy of our file to obtain a second opinion from another firm.Attorney Vincent Davis retaliated by cancelling our contract in the middle of an active case. Attorney Vincent Davis CCed his entire staff at the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates to stop all work on our cases & they then ignored all attempts at communication from May 30th until around a week later. Meanwhile, I filed a dispute on both retainer charges with my credit card company.We never received our file or an itemized bill & have reported them to the California State Bar for ethics violations. We have also submitted for reimbursement of the stolen retainers from the state bars client fund.It took our new attorney less than a week to learn what the allegation was & take big steps towards resolving it. It was so goofy and obviously untrue.

I am VERY disappointed with the Vincent W. Davis and Associates and their billing department. When we signed the agreement I was promised that any unused potion of my retainer would be returned to me. My case was a family maintenance plan that was transferred due to moving and only required representation at the acceptance and dismissal hearings. I paid the retainer, Mr. Davis showed up to the acceptance hearing and I nor the Social work heard from the firm until the day of the dismissal when another attorney from the firm represented me. I never received a monthly statement even though I called several times asking for one. My case has been closed over 2 months ago and I have yet to get any statements or refund of the balance of my retainer! I have called and talked to the receptionist and the accounting department continually getting the run around. I was finally told last week by accounting that Mr. Davis approved the refund of retainer and they were going to over night a check to me. A week later and no check and still no statement. I called today and was told I MUST have a phone conference with Mr. Davis himself to find out why I haven't received my check. I am preparing to file a complaint to CA Bar Association.Information YOU need to know:* He was quick to take the case, and talked a great game of planning and strategizing.* They didn't reply to deadlines asked of the Social Worker.* They never set any meetings, discussed planning or strategy.* They never return phone calls* I never received any kind of statement as to status of my retainer* I still do not have the remainder of my retainer

Mr. Davis represented me in juvenile dependency court, and he did an excellent job. He is very good at what he does, and I would highly recommend him. In court, he is very very good; and what I really like about Mr. Davis is that he is so responsive to my calls and texts (yes, all his clients have his personal mobile number and he would answer my texts when I had emergencies after hours and on weekends.) I HIGHLY recommend him in legal matters when you have to go to court.

I wish there was a worse rating that 'poor' as the services from Vincent Davis and associates were beyond the pale. I know for a fact that each one of these 'excellent' ratings by anonymous users are all fake. Some examples of why Vincent Davis is not the legal council you want:- Very expensive- Nobody is ever available to answer your call- They'll forget your name- One lawyer feel asleep during a meetingand best of all, on a really simple case Vincent Davis managed to lose by simply: NOT BEING THERE. I was all alone in court.Get a lawyer that answers your calls. Get a lawyer that doesn't demand a retainer before learning what your name is. Do not use Vincent Davis and associates unless you want to be ripped off. They don't have time for even the simplest of cases.All Vincent Davis and Associates wants to do is *get your money*. They don't have the sharp knowledge of the law they pretend to have, as they have advised me to do what one *shouldn't* do if one wants to win a family case like mine, and I lost my case. They take a lot of time to do nothing, and the paralegals can barely even spell.
