Evaluating a divorce attorney is usually meaningless; amidst all the acrimony, the party who wins, loves their attorney, while the party who loses hates theirs. That provides no real insight as to how good the attorney really was. Rare is the situation where someone loses the case, yet can still appreciate the deep professionalism and effectiveness of their counsel. Such is the case here. I was represented by this firm for a year, during which time, the entire team (but especially Hannah Kitzrow), managed my complicated and emotionally charged case with deft skill, compassion and pragmatism. To the extent I 'lost' anything, I did so solely due to the unique circumstances of my case and certain unavoidable legal realities; to put a finer point on it, without Hannah and her team, I would have lost a whole lot more. I have learned that in family law cases, nothing is more valuable than the steady hand of a seasoned attorney, managing the case AND the client successfully, while keeping a long view throughout.
