James McGuire was recommended to me for a family law issue. When I met with him I was told that my fee would be $3,500. After 5 months nothing had been filed in court. Every week I was given a new excuse ranging from bad employees, employees out of town, pulled hamstring, etc. I was told that my ex-wife's attorney was going to be contacted on several occasions which never happened. I ended up with a $13,190 bill for a declaration and motions that were not filed and are having to be redrafted. If you want to spend a lot of money and a lot of time for no results then he's your guy. If you want to move forward with your case without excusing and incurring ridiculous fees then I would look elsewhere.

Mr. McGuire is no less than 100 stars. Him and his senior paralegal assistant did an outstanding job on my behalf regarding my divorce. We did everything through email because I am on the east coast and needed a lawyer in Seattle. They made everything easy for me, simplified the conversations so I could understand what I needed to do and what to expect. Most importantly he put me at ease with his knowledge and compassion for my case. I got what I deserved and more! He is not only a good lawyer but he is a good person also. Mr. McGuire is all in for his clients and gets a big thank you from me! If you need help call him up. You won't be disappointed unless you are being unreasonable.
