Unfortunately Ms Newbrry still works w/the prosecutor. Literally every thing she did helped them prosecute a family member even though there were all kinds of evidence to get the charge dismissed (as I was told by other defense attorneys but too late) She only saw/spoke w/him for a few seconds before the hearings & didn't fix a mitake in the computer re his bail for almost 2 weeks so he had to stay in custody! She seems like a competent prosecutor however she's advertised as a Defense Attorney...which IF she is, she's the worst & most useless defense lawyer I've ever even heard about! I'm wondering if some of the great reviews on here are from friends & family because our experience was quite the opposite of what they say! Also her reputation w/people I've talked to (but didn't know) seems to mirror our experience!

It's been almost a year since retaining representation through Newbry Law Firm and I can tell you that it was the BEST choice I had made. In particular both Ms. Leyna Harris and Ms. Laura Baier worked tirelessly and were incredibly impressive to me in how sincere they were in helping me resolve my custody issues in trial. They were always prompt and reliable and in fact I feel went above and beyond what they were required to do regarding my case. Ms Newbry has been instrumental in helping me solve me case. I was really intimidated by the judicial process and felt at ease after the initial consultation. A year later my matter has been resolved to my utmost satisfaction. She returned inquiries promptly and was helpful when I needed advice. Only your attorney can weigh the facts of your case and provide a path to take. Choosing an attorney is a crap shoot in of itself.I wouldn't hesitate to ask for her services again in the future should a need arise.

First attorney was a complete nightmare with absolutely no discernment or ability to understand our case. Second attorney was better at placating in the first meeting only to prove that she had no intentions of following through on anything she said or agreed to verbally. Absolute refusal to respond to questions when asked why. And goes on vacation with no notice leaving you without any representation on your case for two weeks and does not notify you. This office is the why attorneys are not respected.

This law office does not care about the people they represent. They never notified me that the GAL and the caseworker had been changed in the case. I repeatedly asked not to be represented by them and they would not drop the case they said it was my responsibility. Yet I have a head injury and a disability that was their responsibility. They want to get paid by doing minimal work. They will not show up to important meetings and will only do phone visits they won't keep up with what is happening in the case and they are always have an excuse like they are on vacation. Definitely I would not recommend these people. They are horrible as a law firm if you want someone to mess up your case they are great at that. Yes if someone recommends them just say no thank you.

Well what can I say I'm in a middle of a dependency and leyna Harris is one of the best attorney I ever had and I've had six attorneys in the past 3 years and none of them work as good as leyna Harris she's a good attorney one of the best attorneys that I have found in the whole Kitsap County highly recommend her she'll fight for you every way. Love you leyna keep up the good work and help me get my family back together thank you so much

I give this star only because no stars is not an option. Christine Newbry was hired by my family in an attempt to gain custody of my daughter. What work she did is not really apparent but the bills came like clockwork. She agreed with me to my face and pandered in court. We lost the case. My daughter went back to a home with her mothe, 50/50. A home rife with violence and appalling behavior. after a year+ of incredible evidence that Christine did seemingly nothing with. She in my hu!able opinion was detrimental to my case. My daughter's mother shortly after wining ended her life via heroin. The bills keep coming from Newbry law. Spectacular.
