Chalmers gave me excellent assistance and advice during the fall of 2019 regarding a very difficult employment situation. He is compassionate, competent and personable. I was relieved that the situation was resolved in my favor without ever having to go to court. His fees are more than fair. I'd also recommend Norman Short for tax and business law. He was able to clarify a complex situation for me and is also skilled and kind and charged a very reasonable consultation fee.

I had the opportunity to meet Attorney David Jones back when I was trying to represent myself years ago in what turned out to be a painful nightmare of a family case. David was great at mentoring and guiding me throughout the entire deal. He was patient, believed in me and showed good faith when no one else would (like I doubt any Attorney ever will). I am lucky as well as very much impressed to have found an Attorney that is actually - 'HUMAN.' If you are looking for a great Attorney involving a family case who will advocate/represent your best interest as well as your family's best interest while also being straightforward throughout your entire experience in court then this is your guy. The Staff there is pretty great as well I never had a bad experience with any of them. My legal matter was a family case but the GSJones LAW Group has other Specialists for other legal matters as well. I would very much recommend at least to schedule a CONSULT so that any of you can learn/discuss your options and perhaps even develop a game plan to whatever legal matter you are, could be or will be dealing with in the future. We spoke to a lawyer and after describing our case the lawyer said it was beyond the scope of his ability (very nice man and a good lawyer, but our case was complex). That lawyer referred us to Norm Short. Norm Short was amazing. We have seen him twice and expect to work with him further. He was thorough, understanding, considerate, and has done an amazing job for us. After reading other reviews I felt sorry for another porospective client because had she waited, she would have found Mr. Short to be exactly what you hope your lawyer to be.

I wouldn't recommend this law firm. If you can take your business elsewhere I would do so. I'm not the only client they have but their customer services is very poor. Communication is very important to a client this law firm lacks that. I would make my calls to their office to inquire and follow up with my stats and the receptionist lacks phone etiquette on clients who pays her wages to sit behind the desk as well as I would get letters through the mail over the weekend whether to obtain additional documents or to schedule signing of legal documents which they could have called to inform us that we need to schedule signing of legal documents as well as expect the letter in the mail which delays another week of waiting period. I can understand everything needs to be documented but if this is so true why provide contact numbers if you can't follow up with your paying clients.

GS Jones Law Group has all kinds of lawyers. As a legal powerhouse this office can and did handle it all in house, with considerable legal expertise and professional execution. RE: Norman Short. I see all the fantastic reviews of other lawyers in this group and assumed that the whole group would be as outstanding. Well, much to my disappointment, I should not have assumed anything. We did not meet Mr. Short because apparently he does not consider anyone elses time as important as his. We had a 1PM appointment, and were even a bit early as we do not do late. At 1:15 PM we walked out of the office because we are now 15 minutes past our appointment time without so much as an apology or reason from any staff as to why our appointment time was not being met by Mr. Short. Mr. Short, our time is important too. As I see it, we should be billing you (at your rates) for the 15 minutes of our time we wasted sitting in your office waiting on you, and the extra hour my husband has to wait to start work because going home then turning around to drive back to Port Orchard is not feasible. He normally would leave the house for work in PO between 2PM and 2:15 PM to begin his job at 3PM. I have no cofindence in this Lawyer and I wonder about a firm that would hire someone with so little respect for client's time.
