Defoe Pickett Law Office

I am not one to normally leave reviews for any business, but I am currently working with Defoe Pickett Law and I can say that everyone there has been wonderful. I have worked with both Steven Defoe and Mason Pickett, and I am confident in their skills at handling my situation. These men are very intelligent at what they do and I am glad I chose this firm to represent me. Initially, I was very uncertain at what to expect as I have never been to court before. However, the support staff has been very helpful at informing me of everything that I am to expect in this process. In conclusion, Defoe and Pickett, as well as paralegals Hannah and Kelly have been very compassionate and thorough with the work they do. They understand my situation and have been nothing but professional, supportive, and compassionate in what they do. If you want the right team, I recommend this firm.

Absolutely the worst lawyers! They just take your money and build a case around lies. Please stay away from these people.

Been working on a difficult divorce with this firm for 14+ months now. Several missed paperwork, not prepared for court, filed to delay several times, I was supposedly covered during my lawyers maternity leave by another lawyer in the firm and didnt here from them (besides a letter to inform me I was covered). I was patient while both my lawyer and paralegal worked on their families but was not supported in keeping mine safe. I went to them for help because I thought they were the sharkiest firm around. They may have been at some point, however they are having their assistants switched all over between cases and have overbooked themselves to the point that my case was never going to be a priority. They were however able to send me a bill certified mail letting me know to pay my bill (12,000) within 30 days per our agreement. That shows me they are able to function, even though with regards to my case they didnt function well. I had more trouble than I care to spend my day writing. I would never treat a person the way they have treated me. Its just heartbreaking to be dealt with in this manner and I hope this review saves other people from my same sad experience.

Extremely unhappy with their services.I paid top dollar for in my opinion extremely low quality service.It seemed there interest was how much money they could make off me and not serving my interest.I would NOT recommend this office to anybody for anyting !!!!!!The only reason I gave them one star is because I cannot give them NO star .

They were aggressive but not the best I tried going for shared custody and they like tried holding back every time at the end I didn't get shared custody and had too go for mediation, secondly for the money spent I didn't get my money worth after the whole thing was done and they got themselves out and everything for some reason I still kept getting bills , made no sense after they had already taken themselves out of the case good aggressive lawyers but including me and another person I know we got ripped off at the end I'm stuck with a big bill after they had taken themselves out of the case , for nothing except some letter they ' reviewd ' best advice is def look better instead of going for the 'best' it's more expensive than it's two buddies for shared custody and spent half that I spent and with no bill afterwards !!
