I wish I could give zero stars. While working with McKinley they filled out my court papers wrong. I was the petitioner and they gave me the respondents middle name. Luckily I noticed that. When I decided to discontinue working with them they said they would refund me my money. That was 4 weeks ago, I have not received a refund and they ignore all emails when I try to ask for help in receiving my refund. I think I need to hire a lawyer to sue them just to get my refund. Why are they ignoring me?

Despite my first impression I attempted to push on with lawyer Amy Carei and Sondra Lee, only to be correct. I gave them a $7,500 retainer that they managed to use the entirety prior to ever going to the first court date only to sent the case to another county without my content. Then sent me a Letter of Withdrawal. I am beyond disappointed in every way. Honestly feel like they took my money and kicked the case. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone.

After going thru a brutal divorce where my ex did not want to settle on a 70/30 split in her favor offered by me, and two family law attorneys that took everything that they could get their hands on, leaving us both in debt, Jennifer Coombs was a joy to work with on a custody issue for my son.The most important attribute that she has in my opinion was that she listens. In the past my dealings with attorneys is that they do not care what you say, want to accomplish, or what your goal is. Jennifer does.If what you may want to accomplish is not possible, she will let you know and in lay mans terms will explain it to you in a way you can understand. She will and did go the extra mile in my custody case, worked her butt off before the hearing, and was dominate during that hearing. All with respect to the court, my ex and her attorney, and most important got custody of my son for me.This is coming from someone who does not hold that profession in high regard. Mostly based on my bad experience, but I'm not sure how some of them sleep at night.
