Errors, lack of knowledge, big fees even though my ex was agreeing to everything... I had to send papers back to lawyer (Anthony Zorich jr.) several times due to errors they made writing them; I'd ask what a statute was about because I was signing that I understood or complied with it, and lawyer Anthony just said he didn't know, that he didn't have time to look them up or memorize them (isn't that his job? To know that stuff for me?) He wrote to have payments made to companies instead of me, so the state can't automatically recover that money for me.... I had no idea at the time that there were options or I would have chosen to have it paid to me! It was just a very expensive mess even though my ex was agreeing to anything we wrote!! So I would never recommend him or the paralegal I worked with! Now I have to spend many hours of precious time and money fixing (re-writing) visitation and child support and go back to court all over again, and ex is no longer in picture...

Having to go through legal procedures is rarely something that brings pleasure to people, at least it is not something that I draw pleasure from. It definitely can feel odd leaving a review for something as ugly as a divorce.When all this happened to me I was scared, I felt alone, I felt like my life was over, and that I would never recover. I worked with Blake Hilty on a summary judgement that was brought forth in the midst of an ongoing custody dispute with my child's father. At the time when this summary judgement was made I had been working with another wonderful lawyer at McKinley Irvin, however, I ran out of funds preparing my response to this motion. Blake volunteered his time and skills to help me finalize my response and he also came to represent me in court at the hearing. We won the summary judgement and I was awarded full attorney's fees.
