Very easy to talk to. He was willing to listen, and give me honest advice. A lot of attorneys seem to try to incite arguments between the 2 parties, which Maciej did not. His rates are very reasonable. Email or text is definitely the best way to communicate with him, since he is a 1 person show, and cannot answer the phone at all times.

I was in a four and a half year physically abusive, selfish marriage with a spouse who was disloyal and refused to work. I sought legal advice from two well-known, well established high priced law firms that charged me $300 and $225 respectively for and initial consultation visit. After hearing all the marital facts, each of the aforementioned counselors stated that theres no way around it youll have to pay her X amount of dollars in spousal support. I did took these same set of facts to Mr. Zebraks office. After hearing me and charging me absolutely no consultation fee he stated that shes not going to get a penny He then quoted me a flat rate for a contested divorce and the rate never increased or was added to for any reason. He first analyzed all the facts surrounding the physical/mental abuse and then went to court on my behalf and utilizing documentary evidence, photographic evidence and the law secured me a protection order that required my spouse to remove all her personal belongings from the marital residence. My final decree of divorce took almost 2 years to secure and the judge had within his discretion to not only award my spouse spousal support, some of my 34 year pension benefits and also could have awarded my spouse back pay for the two years of litigation.I picked up my signed final divorce decree from Mr. Zebraks office today (1/16/20) and it stated just what Mr. Zebrak had told me two years earlier SHE GOT NOTHING I know each case and each outcome may be different depending on the circumstances but for me Attorney Zebrak was a GOD send of honesty, integrity, and legal knowledge whom I HIGHLY recommend.

Maciej Zebrak has been my attorney for several years now on one of the most complicated of cases. The court environment can be extremely unfair, discouraging and exhausting. Having an attorney who truly cares about his clients makes a huge difference. Maciej has the right words and understands the law and the legal system. While there's never such a thing as a sure win, having the right attorney is critical. My recommendations are to be entirely honest & upfront with your attorney on all issues involved in your case. Otherwise they can't help you. Follow his or her directions verbatim. Don't let emotions get the best of you and likewise avoid doing anything stupid based on that emotion. I am continually baffled by his good reviews. They've got to be done by friends and family. While my case was challenging, and perhaps doomed from the start due to one unsurmountable issue, a decent lawyer would not have just gone into shutdown mode in court. He used ZERO of my evidence, did nothing to help my case in any kind of defense or offense, and refused to meet my gaze or speak to me when we lost. He was completely impotent. Prior to that he was absolutely not available outside of business hours - and I mean he did not communicate with me after 5:01 even if we were in the middle of an exchange - and you can rest assured he's not putting in extra prep time because he told me he leaves his laptop in the office on weekends. He had to be nagged to accomplish the most minor tasks. He was terrible at returning calls (I found out repeated texts are 'most efficient.'). In fact, there are still two outstanding actions that he has not completed - and I gave up. My next lawyer will have to handle them (and theyre basic and simple and theres no reason for him to have not done them aside from laziness or incompetence).If he hired an assistant or receptionist or clerk perhaps he could right this sinking ship, but I doubt it.
