I've hired Terry Spencer a couple of times now and wouldn't consider any other lawyer for myself or for anyone that would ask for a recommendation.He's the best, he's worth every penny he charges and that's all there is to it.

I met Terry when I went to court with my mom during her divorce proceedings. He was very understanding of her situation and got her exactly what she asked for. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and do when one asks if I know of a good attorney.

I am a board director for several nonprofits and have worked with Terry at first as a client then as a colleague on several public benefit projects. Terry works dillegently, giving his time To dozens of nonprofits benefiting low income seniors, local arts and culture, and other disadvantaged demographics.

This man is a very dishonest man. He will take your case, but, within the fine print is an interest rate of around 24% and compounds daily. How can this be legal to charge interest upon interest? Needless to say when I tried to sell my home there was a lien on my property for $9,000. I had no notification of this lien and was never notified that it was filed. How does a bill for $1000 end up being $9,000? Which I had to pay him directly so I could sell my home. How does an attorney do such things to innocent people? In my opinion this man should not be allowed to practice law.

Terry Spencer is claiming my late husband hired him back in early 2009, he put a lien on my home for $10k without my knowledge, after my husband passed. My husband an ex-marine fell ill November 2008, ended his life in front of me & Sandy PD end of May. All Terry is concerned with is his money. He has yet to Furnish an agreement signed by my late husband, whom has been dead almost 9 yrs. Just trying to get home out of his name, into mine. When does the spouse in a divorce case pay the other spouses attorneys fees? Especially after the husband kills himself? How many attorneys would go after the widow and her kids home? Terry Spencer feels it's 100% acceptable to take advantage of a widow for a debt which ins't even hers. He is dark energy & is fine taking what isn't truly his. I am now forced to file in court against him, its debilitating emotionally & physically to dredge up my husbands death. Do not trust this man. I wonder if I were his daughter if he still feel good doing what he is doing to us? Please do not use his services, he isnt a good man.

Terry is handling my civil, family law case with custody. He is really smart and knowledgeable. He really knows his stuff! This makes it so that the documents he prepares are well thought out and excellent. When he walks into the courtroom he is respected and almost feared. He knows the laws and procedures which makes for a very effective advocate on your side.

After going through the rest....I found the best! I only wish I had been introduced to Terry years before falling for all the 'father advocate' lawyers. Terry knows the laws inside and out, but, more importantly he loves what he does and it shows based on how hard he works for me. His competent staff are always helpful. Taking all of that into account, Mr. Spencer, is by far someone I recommend to everyone I know in need of representation.Thank you Terry!!

This guy did a terrible job and then called to collect $1100 one time and sent no statements and charged a grossly high interest rate that I only found out about when I refinanced my home.Stay away from this guy as he will do a terrible job and then make all his money on the back end by charging obscene interest rates.

I FIRED TERRY SPENCER prior to our trial date even after I paid him $2500 cash in( Layton Sills Parking lot) He called me and tried to convince me that he at least wanted to finish the trial date and that he was not going to charge me anything, I told him NO, but apparently he showed up anyway and then tried to bill me thousands more after he only went to humiliate me in the court room. That was his tactic to get back at me for firing him. He made snide comments against me during and in the court room to the judge.He should have remove himself from the docket like a good attorney. He deliberately lied to me through the whole process.And I just now 3 years later got a collection noticed from him. for over $2000. Terry Spencer I don't owe you anything.

Terry has been my attorney for over a year now in my custody case. I wish I would have known about him 5 years ago when I got divorced! He is very patient, very professional and will even come in to work on his days off to help his clients. Terry knows the laws inside and out and I wouldn't trust any other attorney to work my case. Terry is handling a an appeal of my divorce. My ex wife hears voices in her head that 'give her direction' and she follows them without a second thought. She has not had a rational thought in more than 15 years. She has made outrageous claims, none of which have a thread of truth. She has delayed every motion; has buried the court with hundreds of documents; and continually files new documents that cause further delays. Two years after the divorce has been signed she continues to maintain that we are still married. Terry has patiently guided me through this process. He has rebutted every motion with a professional attitude. I have confidence that he will succeed in successfully defeating her appeal and expect that his skills will serve me well in the ensuing trial to resolve all issues raised by the appeal.

Terry has been handling my divorce now for a few years and is doing an amazing job!, he has also handled my bankruptcy and did so flawlessly, he is an amazing attorney that knows his job very well, he has earned my eternal respect which is not an easy feat. Do not be fooled by those that would post negative reviews, he and those in his employ know what they're doing. I would not trust any other attorney with matters that impact the lives of my children and I.
