I used Mr. Laughlin several years ago for divorce and he was great. Needed a lawyer several months ago for a child custody battle when moving. He was worse than ever! Started out great and we thought hed be the one to get the job done. Paid a large amount of money for services then come the first hearing I was so disappointed. I then made a choice to get a new lawyer and reached out to get money back because the services I received was no where close to what I paid for. I was told I would receive money then got the run around from his legal assistant and office. The only person that I felt tried for anything for me was the young lady who answers the phone. Its been months and I still havent received my money back and I know there wasnt a whole lot he did. I feel screwed over and hate how unprofessional this has all been. I would never recommend this office to anyone and hopefully I receive my money back soon.

Ed Laughlin has is staff to handle the divorces. They are so bad at it. They never took care of it after 3 years. Got to the point they wanted to get paid but for me to file the paper work because it was in another county. Don't waste your time or money on this firm.

If there is zero rate,i would rate them zero. Cause they are so unprofessional. This office screwed me over even though i paid them the half of the money as we committed at the beginning. Unfortunately, he has done nothing for me and almost created me others problem by his unprofessional manner. I asked for refund and they got the run around back. I will never advice someone this office. Cause they will screwed over and you wont be satisfied. They lied, they only worry about me. I dont know why they still letting them exercise the lawyer job. They should close that offic long time and people they owe should sue them. I will sue them soon to get my money back. Its unfair to people that the government let this kind of office still working. I have sent patients to the Law Offices of Ed Laughlin and they have always taken great great care of them! They have helped my patients with social security disability and personal injury case. Ed helped me adopt my daughter. His office is quick and efficient, they had the adoption paperwork ready to go in about 2 weeks. We needed to finish the adoption before the end of the year and Ed made it happen. He also personally drove down to San Antonio to represent me in the court proceedings. He's not just a great attorney, he's compassionate and genuinely wants to help his clients.

Their quick to take your money but slow to help you do anything. I filed a divorce with them a year and a few months ago and im still waiting for it to be final or even waiting for them to process my claims for child support. Frankly recommend you file your divorce through the courts yourself, it'll get done faster and far less stress on your end.

Contacted this attorney 3 times to speak to someone. Each time was told Ed Laughlin would call me back. It never happened! I wouldn't recommend this attorney's services if they do not respond to clients that have attempted on 3 different occasions to contact them. Not worth the hassle.

Horrible horrible horrible!! I had this law office take on my military divorce case and they're all about the money. Im assuming they have so many clients that they've lost sight of the QUALITY of service that should be provided to every clients that pays money. My case was handled in the temple office. Susan green never returns phone calls. No updates/ information was provided to me about my case, specifics dealing with military divorces, court date etc. Two days prior to my court date i was given the time i needed to be at the belton courthouse (im not from the area so an address would've been nice). My decree was sent via email and i was told that i needed to hurry and send it back because there was a rush. Why were we rushing? A face to face appointment to go over the decree would've been professional and showed that they gave a damn. I was never told who was representing me in court and had no idea of how the person even look. The morning of court google gave me the wrong courthouse in belton and i had to call the office to find out who i was to be in contact once in the courtroom (the office told me brent would be there. I had to google brent to even know what he looked like). Long story short these people are all about the money and do not have the clients best interest in mind.

Never even got to speak with an attorney. All I needed was an expungement. But the oh so polite receptionist accusing me of being a felon just trying to get one over just insured that I will never give this law office any business nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.

Went thru a divorce 4 yrs ago and hired Ed Laughlin as my lawyer. WORST POSSIBLE THING TO DO! at the court house the laywer I had representing me (Mr. Gaunt) seemed as if he was on the side of my wife and her lawyer. All the pics, videos, and text messages I had for additional proof was just a waste of time. He did not look at them and said it doesnt matter. Then he brought up his own dovorce and his custody with his child. Long story short i ended up not getting to see my son because of the lies that were told on my ex's side. But that's not the reason why I am here. Well a couple of days ago I went to have my child support changed because of my income has been lowered. So, I was told by the Child support division that I need a letter stating that Ed Laughlin was not representing me any longer, just so I can get the necessary paperwork to change my child support. I called the office of Ed Laughlin and explained what I needed. The secretary said that no one was in at the moment (This was 11:15) and took my phone number so they can call me back, which was fine. Well, I recieved no call that day.So I decided to call the very next day and was given a slight attitude as if I was disturbing them and was told someone will call me back. This is 3 days later and I have yet to recieve a call from their office! Please, if you can find another law attorney then use them! I would not have expected that a lawfirm would have such low regards to their clients. STAY AWAY FROM ED LAUGHLIN's OFFICE!!!!!!!

Worst Lawyer ever hired for a family matter!Ed was hire to get custody of my child, the day of the court he was late, he had change the plead from custody to emancipation without my approval!! Anyone hiring Ed Laughlin will lose in court!

Not professional I have given them everything they ask for in my divorce. I have no kids no property or anything. I cant get a court date no matter how I try. They allowed the opposing attorney do the divorce decree and Im the one that filed. They said I havent paid my remainder and once I paid I would have a court date. 1 Year has passed still going through this. No temporary orders set and Im not any closer to being finished. Its okay Ill go to the bar of Texas and I will goto to fort hood and stop soldiers from being taken for their money. These people on the reviews who give great reviews must know them. Cause its a horrible lawyer office. There is one good lawyer there I didnt get him though. Listen and listen well Jesus is my witness dont give this place a look walk away. I never bash any company but this one is not good. They want me to also go to mediation to mediate over nothing. Its about money nothing more ladies and gentlemen. Heed my warning now or later
