* I wanted to edit my earlier review to add that bio mom has officially terminated her rights and we will be proceeding with a step parent adoption. I am in awe of everything Ms. Barrows has worked to accomplish for us. She has worked tirelessly to get us to this point. Everything we were told we couldnt do, she has accomplished. The best part for me is what my son told me once the termination was official. He sighed a breathe of relief and said he is so happy he never has to worry about bio mom coming into his life and making it a mess again. Its not what she did just for us. She gave peace to our son and that means the world to us. Thank you again, Leslie. Truly. Youre a God send. Original review- Our case was finalized close to a year ago, but I needed to leave a review so others know how incredibly effective and talented this firm is what they do. My husband's insurance allowed for us to have free legal consultations, so we must have met with about 10 attorneys before finding Leslie Barrows. Every attorney we met with for our child custody case told us we could not get sole custody because it would be 50/50, regardless of how much thorough documentation we had to prove that it was not in the best interest of my step son. Leslie, and her team fought so hard for us! This was a case that was transferred from Michigan to begin with, so they helped us get proper jurisdiction in Texas. It was an incredibly stressful time in our lives, but the Barrows firm worked with us every step of the way. They took the time to explain everything to us, and reassured us when we were anxious about the process. They treated us like people, not just another number. I cannot thank them enough. Here we are, a year later, with sole custody, and the mother voluntarily relinquishing her rights. Everything that everyone else told us we couldn't do, they did. We are eternally grateful to them because of their hard work and dedication, my step son won't grow up in a toxic environment. I highly recommend Leslie Barrows, and her team.

Don't use these people for tickets. It's a rip off. I used them in 2010 for a speeding ticket & for $45 they took care of it, no problems.Fast forward to Sept 2012 and wanted to use them again. I was charged $127, 3 times the previous amount but I thought it was still cheaper than a tickets so why not? I said specifically 'once I pay you, this will just disappear right?' I was told under no uncertain terms 'yes'.A week later I was told the court decided to 'settle' doe $166.00. Settle? The original fine was roughly that amount. This is after I paid them the $127.00.The person I talked to would not hear what I had to say & I was hung up on.Because of the dishonesty & arrogance from this firm I will have to give it the worst rating. I've dealt with many firms over the years to handle these matters but this is the first time I've ever been dealt with dishonestly or rudely.

Her compassion for children in particular and their wellbeing is evident in the long hours she puts in, including many nights and weekends. Leslie understands the law and will apply the law to her client's maximum benefits. She makes you feel valued, respected, and represented in the fullest capacity.
