Lawyer was very professional and knowledgeable, I had an issue with the paralegal assigned. Having a good paralegal that is available and responsive is very important. Think the process took longer than it should have due to paper work sitting around. My Lawyer Kay was awesome. Aside from the paralegal assigned, I would highly recommend the firm.

This has to be the crookedest attorney in town. She extorted over 180,000 from me in less than 3 months for a temporary order. Her staff was unprofessional and rude and they are master billers but no results. The person they recommended for an expert witness was demoted to a regular witness. The test they recommended for my ex to take to prove up his guilt has never been approved in case law admissible in court. They failed to plead for child support and I'm still not have been fighting to get child support. The other therapist they recommended be appointed as family mediator charged overv 6k for test and concluded zero. All a money making pit of legalized extortion with zero results. Thus allowing my case to extend forever and the billing to continue. This office has mastered the art of over billing and legal extortion. If you want to spend your life savings for a custody case or divorce then spend a week here and they will take it. These other ratings on here are probably bought and paid for. Everybody in town knows this attorney is a legal crook. She has been robbing vulnerable families for decades with complete immunity from the State Bar. Buyer Beware! In response to what was written below from her firm. If I wasn't sure if it was the right firm then how would you be prevue to my case file and open to discussing it in public hoping to garner sympathy by gaslighting me? I have never been happy with your service. I'm not sure who told you that lie. So much so that I fired you as a lawyer. You extorted close to 180,000 in less than 3 months while holding my children as collateral. I filed for my own protective order and yes you presented it to the judge. A 4 month protective order at that instead of customary 2 yrs. Your outrageous insane legalized extortion of communities shows how little oversight the state bar has in Not ensuring that communities are looted by parasitical law firms like this one. You know which families are vulnerable and you certainly take advantage of that. If I could give this firm a negative 100, I would. She has a long list of many years of extorting the community with zero consequences. She pretends to wish people well while extracting even the air they breathe. On a positive note this law firm will be singlehandedly responsible for major and I mean major transformation in how the state bar handles parasitical law firms.

To put into words what Mrs. Lisa Vance did for me during our meeting would be an understatement. Her love for her clients and work is that of an honest, caring, passionate woman; Her consideration can not be matched. After having a bad experience with another San Antonio area attorney we were extremely pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of everyone at Lisa Vance's firm. Our initial discussions were with Kimberly Painter but we ended up working with Dylan George, who represented us very well. He was very knowledgeable, invested time to learn the complexities of our case, and he was a genuine advocate for us. Plus, they had to clean up something of a mess created by our prior attorney. I wish we had hired this firm from the beginning of our case - it would have saved us a lot of time and headache.

Crooks, liars, thieves, snakes. They will accuse you instead of defend you. They will absolutely take advantage of you and your emotional state if you are getting divorced. They make promises and do not follow through. They will give you a quote then charge you $400+ for ONE fax and then QUADRUPLE their original quote although you have done nothing to increase those charges. They churn their invoices; be prepared to be charged for the same item at least 5 times. They will make unsolicited calls to your cell phone at all hours of the day and try to give you therapist advice, ask if you're okay, etc. then charge you for all of those 30-minute conversations. When you try to get out from using them as your lawyers, you will again receive unsolicited calls from them trying to convince you to stay. Their finance worker/invoice prepare-er will know ALL of what you did/did not receive in the divorce and threaten you into paying your bill with that knowledge--breach in confidentiality. Worst people I have ever trusted besides my ex-husband. They did NOTHING to help me. They will smile and talk sweetly and politely. They are incredibly smart, but in the sense that they will take everything you have and leave you with no peace of mind. My ex-husband STILL torments me by sending mail constantly. They did not help when he took thousands of dollars from me, they did not help when he threatened me, harassed me, nothing.

Lisa and her team were awesome. The office really cares and it shows in their work. As a father in a custody dispute, I could not be happier with Lisa and her team. I highly recommend Lisas office concerning any family law matter.

Ms. Vance helped me through a very rough divorce and saw to it that all my resources were not drained by my ex-wife. She pointed out many specifics that I hadn't an idea existed. I couldn't imagine where I'd be today without the help of her and her staff. Several times I needed reassuring that the course I was taking was the best thing for everyone involved, and she made sure my every discomfort was attended to. In simple terms, if it had not been for Ms. Vance I'd have been raked over the coals depleting what was rightfully mine.

Can charge for initial review and may then pass you to someone else. May be double billed for other to review (seem to lack intra-office communication). Very touchy and may drop you if feel offended...even in middle of effort.
